Does/did anyone watch this?

I have been recording it but they seem show the the same 2 or 3 stories (from back in the 80s/90s from what it seems) over and over...

I would think that when the show was in its "prime", they had more stories than the ones I keep seeing...

Does anything similar come on TV? I'd like to see stories of adoptive families, but I want to see different aspects....

I think I have seen every one (at least 3 times!) but I don't think there are any new ones...which is a bummer.I did see kate from jon and kate plus 8 say they wanted to adopt a ''tagalong'' baby from korea (her words!) ....personally I think it's to add new interest (and make more money) for her show...ack!!!

You are probably right...I can believe she said that though..she is rather crass sometimes...I like the show but liked it more when the kids were younger...I sometimes feel sorry for Jon though..she use to talk to him bad...I haven't seen this season though....

I've also seen where Jon and Kate said that they will not be able to adopt a Korean baby because they surpass the allowed quota for children already in the home. I sure can't imagine why they would want to add to their family in anyway since they already have their hands so full. Don't get me wrong, I understand wanting more children but not with so many the same age. I have seen a few adoption stories but like you said, they are repeats. Maybe we should contact the show and see if each of us here could share ours!!!

I love adoption stories! I used to watch all the time before we started to adopt. I have also seen them all a few times. I wish there were more too.

I actually think Kate just wants to stay at home and not work or anything..the little ones will be starting school soon so she'll be home by herself (unless Jon is working from home now too)...plus they need to be able to continue the show...they'll come up with something I'm sure...

I have been recording the show on dvr, but I think now I got to stop because I have seen them over and over.. If you look on the date the latest one is from 2003. I am not sure why they are not doing anymore.One day on 20/20 on WE had adoption story..OMG was so real, I cried and cried. I got so excited that they have new adoption show.. I guess was just one time show..

I watched them all the time after my miscarriages. We were just starting to talk about adoption, so they have me a lot of hope.

I think Jon and Kate are going to buy a house or something as the next "big" thing in their life.

Twins, Twins, and triplets is the show that is new to that channel now. (and the Duggars). But I only saw two shows and they have repeated. Maybe they were trying to see if another story about that many kids would make it. I think we should petition TLC to do more stories on adoption.. THe mentallity of people 20 years ago towards adoption has changed and therefore the public wants to see that in the shows.

I Tivo Adoption Stories, but I can only bring myself to actually watch it occasionally. It's soooo cheesy. That narrator's voice - ack, she always sounds like she's reading a story to a kindergarten class. We're adults! You don't have to use that voice!

But I do like to see the families and kids getting together. I especially like the ones that are similar to our situation - domestic open adoption (at least that's what we're planning). It gives me hope and, at the same time, reminds me it's not all sunshine and roses! And yet, at the end ... there's the happy family with their child, and it's all worth it.

Are the Duggars the ones with 17 kids? I never watched that...I have seen the "Little People, Big World" show once or twice...but you are right, they seem to be gearing all their shows to families with multiples...a petition would be great because they do need to either show ALL their adoption stories (instead of the same ones over and over) or they need to come up with some new fresh episodes....

The Duggars are the one's with 17 (+?) kids. I have to admit, I love watching their show. I think they are just fascinating. I have an aunt and uncle with 12 kids and I always tease the girls about marrying the Duggar boys. I think I'm funny, them not so much.

I have been watching the episodes all morning...much better than the adoption stories I have been seeing....
