BC Finally Arrived!
  We have been waiting since August for DS's new birth certificate. It finally arrived on Friday. It was issued three months from the date of submission. Now I get to go to Social Security Office tomorrow. I appreciate all the advice that has been posted in regards to the necessary documentation. I will definitely be prepared for them. I think this is just another part of the "be patient it will happen" theme within adoption.

It is so great, yet so surreal, huh? Wierd that, on paper, it appears you gave birth. Both times, I was happy and excited to get it, but also wierded out a little!

Marci I was weirded out too! And then I got over it and ran out and got three notarized copies of it the very next day!
