Seriously OT: Do you have a hobby?

I have come to the realization that I am pathetic! LOL I realized I have no real hobbies. How sad is that?! When people ask, "What do you like to do?", I have no idea what to say. I don't "do" anything!! Oh, I have a career that I love and a wonderful husband. I have a good life - just no hobbies!

So. . . do you have a hobby? (Oh, please, tell me there is SOMEONE out there that doesn't have a hobby, so I don't feel like a complete loser!! LOL)

I have a new hobby! But it's a "wobby" work/hobby. A local newsletter with all the kid related activities in my town.

Other than that I kind of try to have fun with cooking (but I do that anyway)

and before my wobby? Nope, nothin'

Hate to disappoint but I do have hobbies. Mainly I write novels. I also am in the process of learning what horse ownership is all about... the whole horseback riding, grooming, horse loving junk I never got to do when I was twelve. I'm obsessed with The Sims 2 (soon to be Sims 3), and play some online games with my husband.

I'm a SAHM, and all this hobby stuff is managed at night, my son goes to bed at 7pm and I go to bed at 1am. All except the horse stuff- my husband cares for our son all day on Friday so I see my horses then.

Those are the main ones, I kid myself that I can garden too. OH- and the posting on online forums like this one. If you consider that a hobby.

I used to have hobbies like scrapbooking and classical piano, but now sleep, yep, collecting sleep is my main hobby. Someday there'll be others I'm sure.

I turned my hobby into a biz so that I could someday be a SAHM. I'm not brave enough to publically share the details at the moment but maybe someday

Other hobbies, well I read cookbooks from front to back like a novel. I love love love cooking, baking and creating new recipes. If I couldn't cook I'd go bonkers, it's always been a huge relaxing escape for me. Veggie and herb gardens keep me busy and fed all spring and summer. I dabble in photography, painting and quilting (small teeny tiny projects).

I'm a night owl so I pretty much do what I like when the house is quiet....maybe I've been preparing for kids all along

OP: It's just anything you do to relax or escape for a while....you could collect magazines as a hobby...SHOPPING..shopping could so be a hobby if I let it be. I love food shopping so much I once considered doing that for a living! Serioulsy, like helping mom's and folks who couldn't get out to do it all the time. I'm sure you have hobbies, just not what you think others would consider a "hobby"

Sorry to disappoint you but I have a kajillion hobbies.... With two toddlers I have to pick my times to do them though.

Crafts, sewing, painting, computer games, surfing the internet... I love it all.

But happywife, you are on this forum and that could be considered a hobby!

Ok so I suppose this is a good a place as any to admit I am a "WOW" junkie! DH & I play almost every night. This is our only social outlet since DD came along! Luckily we know a lot of RL friends that all play as well

I also sew sometimes, and now am working on scrapbooking. Not that "WOW" or the baby leave much time for either one of these.

I scrapbook/make cards when I have a chance...but in the past year, I've only had the opportunity twice...

Other than that, my "hobby" includes organizing the piles of paperwork my kids bring home from school.

But I think I may teach myself to crochet...
