IKEA | Lighting | Children's lighting | TASSA NATT | Wall lamp

These are the nightlights that we have. They are from IKEA as well. The picture around the front is removable so you can use your own paper to go around the shade and match it to your decor. I took off the frog paper and put in Winnie the Pooh for DD's room. They also mount to the wall

Thank you. I wish it was avail. online! Nothing I ever want from Ikea is on their site. Maybe that's a good thing since I'm too lazy to go there. Maybe after the holidays. This looks perfect!

We don't use a night light in the kids rooms, but we leave the bathroom light on all night. It's right across the hallway and gives just enough light for everyone!

None of my kids used nightlights. I actually read an article about how nightlights can have a negative effect on a child's vision.

My kidlets that had monster issues were given a flashlight. Tazzie has one that was picked up on an after Hallowe'en sale, and it has a squeeze trigger on the handle, is a cartoony werewolf and howls when its mouth opens to shine the light. Its done by either Little Tykes or Playskool, forget which. He loves it, and it worked great for 'monsters'.

ETA: Its not the exact article I read, but close enough for horseshoes:

We put a dimmer switch on the chandlier in Castle's room so at bedtime we just dim it very low.

In Little Mister's room we have a small lamp with a 25-watt bulb. In Curly Miss's room we have one of those "rope lights" that is like Christmas lights only it is all enclosed so that the kids can't pull any bulbs off. We have those rope lights on the stairwell too... they are wonderful!

rope lights, that's what i want! We have a 25 watt lamp, it's really supposedly not good to have the kids sleep in rooms that light apparently
