digital cameras for kids...

Does anyone have a brand that they would recommend? Do they work well? And are they really tough enough for 3 year olds? How is the picture quality? I'm thinking of one for Natalie because she plans to ask Santa for one. (Not that I'm Santa or anything...cause he's real...duh....we all know that )

My mom bought the Fisher Price one for the boys 2 years ago, and they are garbage...The quality is awful..

I think she paid $60.00...This year, for $80.00, I bought the kids actual digital cameras (Kodak 8 megapixel).

Of course, my kids are now 5 and 7, so not necessarily for a 3 year old...but in my opinion, just save your money, at least on that brand...

Thank you! Maybe I should bring out one of the many toy catalogs we've been getting in the mail and convince her to come up with a second choice for Santa

thanks aclee....going to check out the reviews now! Maybe one of the brands will be worth buying....if not, then we'll have to find a second choice for Nat's Santa gift.

I would appreciate input too because I want to get one for my nephews ages 7 and 11, and I don't want to go over 50 dollars. There isn't a lot but I saw some 3 megapixel cameras on pricegrabber. One is the oregon scientific or something like that and the other is a small round blue one, both in the 30 to 40 dollar range with free shipping.

I recently read very good reviews on the V-tech Kidizoom Pre-School camera, pink version. I think I saw it on the ToyRUs website, the product and reviews. It is $60. I wrote it down for me to remember for our daughter's third birthday.

But that other review website for kids cameras aclee posted would be great to look at.
