Well Ladies there is a new twist to my drama! After moving heaven and earth DH and I were approved for a small adoption loan almost enough to cover expenses so I called the lawyer today to see if (at your suggestions, thank you) he would break down his fee in payments. Surprise, surprise...he was already representing a couple working with DD's birthmom. They had already paid her living expenses too. Of course now is is really concerned cuz she told us just a couple of weeks ago that she was keeping this new baby unless we reconsidered. We both tried to reach her and her phone is "not able to accept incoming calls". Babe is due soon I really hope everything works out. I told lawyer DH and I do not want to get in way of other couple adopting IF thats what is happening. I'm really worried about Emom and baby. I feel like I'm in a bad Lifetime movie!

Not really sure what to tell you! This is a tough spot to be in... Maybe the emom is testing the waters to see if you were open to another baby?

My heart goes out to everyone involved in this case- the emom, you guys and the PAP as they have invested both emotionally and financially!

WOW, as a PAP this would absolutely kill me (both emotionally and financially) if this happened to us.
