Holidays for the Troops
hey...
![]() Just thought I'd start a thread for people to post ideas and suggestions for those interested in sending some holiday cheer to our troops. Not so much a list of supplies they want or anything (although you certainly can) but programs, stores, sites etc. that participate in helping to spread some holiday cheer overseas. No pressure, it's not a "HEY GIVE TO THE TROOPS OR ELSE!" thread. I just know that several people have mentioned it and figured there might be more out there who are interested. Here's my "tidbit" I just got a catalogue from Hickory Farms and they are doing free shipping to the APO/FPO addresses to help support the Troops. ![]()

If you go to Let's Say Thanks you can pick a card and Xerox will print and send it to a soldier for free.

Christmas Cards for Recovering Troops-correct address
There's an email circulating right now regarding Christmas Cards for recovering troops. The address in that email may be incorrect (it was in the one I got).
Here's the correct info: Holiday cards should be mailed to: Holiday Mail for Heroes P.O. Box 5456 Capitol Heights, MD. 20791-5456 All cards must be postmarked no later than Dec. 10. Cards should not be mailed or delivered to Walter Reed Army Medical Center. ![]() |

Binky...Funny...I just got that email about Walter Reed today and I had told the SAME sender LAST YEAR that it wasn't valid. Sigh...
![]() Hope to see some more information here soon! ![]()
