Can anyone figure out if we can post our loses in a "poll" format?

Premium members or mods are the only one's who can do polls. Maybe you could ask someone?

Thanks for the welcome loveajax!

I know you all are doing WW, but has anyone tried the Master Cleanse? I used to have a good pattern of fasting and stuff, but haven't in years. Now I'm going gluten free and I feel like I need to do something to flush it all out. I hate pepper though, so I want to do it without it.

I haven't weighed yet. DH has to have his own scale, so I have to get one fo rmyself, he can't share.

We just bought one from Costco but I think it's broken...I know I couldn't possibly weigh as much as it says - lol...

But seriously - I don't like it...You cant just get on and weigh yourself...you have to stand on it until it lands on your assigned number (1-4) then it shows your last weight, then your new weight, then how many pounds you've gained or lost...

Just what I need - for my 7 year old to inadverdently hit my number, see what I weigh and share with his friends - lol...

Ha! I did the Master Cleanse for about 36 hours... As I like to say, nothing like the Master Cleanse to make you appreciate food. I have friends that have done it - so I know it CAN be done. I guess I didn't have the resolve. I thought I did, I planned it for about 2 wks.

IF you decide to do it, add the red pepper to each serving just before you drink it rather than to the entire pitcher of lemonade. It goes down easier that way... some people rave about it, but I found it way too restrictive and incredibly difficult.

I did lose 3 lbs in 36 hrs though!

Ok ladies - I've found one of my achilles heal...

It's the evening hours of 8 pm until 11:30 (or whenever I go to bed...)

I realize that I always wait until 8 pm when the kiddies go to bed to eat, so I can do so in peace...

Well, tonight, I put the kiddies to bed, and the eating began. I ate some tiny pita's with feta dip then about 5 minutes later, I snagged a few grapes, then I went back for a banana.

I'm not even hungry. WTH???

The problem is that we have our big meal (dinner) at 1:30 (DH works midnights) then something "lunchlike" in the evening. I USED to wait until the kiddies went to bed and eat then...but tonight I ate with them, and still find myself eating, probably out of habit.

Are there any tips to stave off nighttime grazing?? Mentally, I KNOW what I'm doing, but it still doesn't stop me from thinking about the lunchmeat in the fridge right now. Maybe I need to pick up a hobby...

Does anyone know someone who could do a poll for us?

I am a late time snacker. Drink a glass of water. And something I just tried for expierment tonight: I decided I would have one snack that didn't even have to be healthly and I would eat it at 8. Then 8 came and I told myself I could have it at 9 and now I think I will just go to bed. Some nights that works, some it don't. Just don't tell yourself no. Just tell yourself to wait at least 20 mintues. If you still want it DECIDED the ONE thing you are going to have, and maybe wait another 20 mintues and have it (or better yet 1/2). Dreading the scales tom. Cross your fingers. Then lets see Shopping and eating at day Wed. Eating all day thur eating all day friday. I should do good next week.

Yeah - I tried the glass of water thing - then my eyes fell on the tin of peppermint bark that my aunt bought me from William Sonoma...but I resisted! Actually, I didn't even HAVE to resist - I didn't want it, which is a miracle of it's own!

.25 of a pound. You have got to be kidding me. Can I even count that as a loss?????? But on the up side I have lost about 6 pounds since starting over a month ago. 5 years ago I could loss 6 pounds in a week. (of course I also followed the DIET). My goal this week is not to have over a pound gain. That's horrible but I know three days of eating will do some negative results. Good luck to you all this week.

startedover, a loss is a loss. All those little losses add up to a big loss. You'll get there in the end.

Master grazer # 2 over here...I'm afraid to step on the scale after yesterday.... Let's just say that I have an unhealthy relationship with chocolate covered pretzels...

Heart

I would have issues eating late at night too. However, the favorite part of my day is going to bed, so I'm in bed every night by 8:30 or 9. I have such a sweet tooth too, so I literally cannot have sweets in my house or I will eat them. All of them. Thankfully, my DH isn't into sweets and doesn't care.

So, I've lost 1.8 pounds so far! But I have worked out hard every single day and eaten strictly within my points. If I can keep going and not quit after a week or so (like I'm prone to do) I think I can get where I want to.

And I agree, .25 is a loss! You're going in the right direction!

Awesome job, DDW!!!!!!!!!!!

My downfall isn't sweets per se but carbs...bread, chips, pretzels, bread (did I say bread)? I had to go to my favorite bagel shop today and bypass the bagel...fruit cup and hard boiled eggs (boring!).
