Unhappy So sad - bmom hasn't gotten pics/letters

I'm so sad! I've sent three packs of pictures and letters, one was through the agency, the other two directly to her, and she hasn't received any of them! She said there is a problem with people stealing mail in her neighborhood, so maybe they got stolen. If so, that makes me even more mad. I would hope people would at least see it's something personal and return it. I feel like crying now! I'm sad that she might have thought we weren't keeping our end of the deal. I put a lot of thought into selecting the pictures to send, what to write, etc. I told her once she gets settled (she's moving again), to give me her address and I'll send everything UPS or FedEx. I know that's expensive, but I want to make sure she receives everything.

How about sending certified mail or the wqay that she would have to sign for it. I do that alot when sending packages through Ebay through the regular US post office. Let me assure you that it alot less expensive than UPS or FedEx. Or what about getting the bparents a PO Box, where they are moving (assuming in the same area) At least that will insure the safety of all their mail. You could even rent a POBox for say 6 months and even when they move if they are further away the mail from the POBox can be forwarded to their new safer address.
Even though stealing mail is a federal offense, it is unbelievable at the amount that is stolen.

I hope you are able to let them know that you have sent pictures I imagine since the agency was involved in sending a batch too that they would be able to confirm this.

Yes, I talked to her today and I said "BTW, have you gotten the pictures?" and that's when she said nothing since the first batch I sent. Certified does sound like a better way to go, even FedEx/UPS can be stolen if they just leave it on the doorstep. She doesn't live in the best area. Next time I talk to her, I'll bring up the PO Box. That sounds like a good idea. At least the pictures were all digital and I can reprint them.
