My stuffing . . . made with sausage. MMMM, I always make my own turkey so that we can have it.

Can someone share their favorite stuffing recipe? I really want to make a batch this year and horde it all to myself (seriously!).

Ok, not a side dish, but pizza, b/c it was what we had the last time all of my family was together when I was twelve. We ate it poolside and talked about Gramma, who had passed two days before.

1-4-2009 Mom and I visit Kiddo despite the bad weather. He really loved the blue mittens I made him and even helped me plan my living room. Apparently Hot Wheels wallpapper is the way to go.
2-16-2009 I got a promotion, that comes with a raise. Mom and Dad are visiting and we're going to Al's for pie to celebrate.
4-27-2009 Dad surprises me with a Lady Ugly Stick (an awesome fishing rod that is pink) and a 2nd Iowa Light Artillery Battery jacket. I'm a lucky girl!
5-30-2009 Kiddo turns five. It is hard to believe he is that old already, it seems like just yesterday he was being born. I was at peace for the first time on his birthday, what a nice feeling.
6-13&14 2009 A cannon live fire in Casper WY. We got third place and I got to see Devil's Tower for the first time, it was pretty awesome.
7-4-2009 Amelia the kitten comes to live with me and Liz. Talk about jealousy, Liz will adjust though.

My favorite foods are usually anything I don't have to cook!

My favorite things to eat at Thanksgiving are:

My mom makes the best apple pie.......which reminds me I have to talk her into making a couple of them

Second favorite cornbread stuffing.

Lolley > I have never heard of the baked macaroni you mentioned before but I must say that does sound good. I might have to have DH try to make something like that YUM! I am sure he could figure it out....he is a much better cook than I am!

If you're interested in great recipes to try out for Thanksgiving, check out The Pioneer Woman Cooks - Ree Drummond. This is actually a blog that I frequent and she has some really great recipes. And if you're feeling a little bit interested in how she became the pioneer woman, read her story Black Heels to Tractor Wheels.
