I guess this woman's comments hurt because there's a kernel of truth in them. She's found the issues I'm already paranoid about and attacked! I wish I kept a perfectly clean, neat house worthy of a magazine spread, but it's just not in my DNA!

Oh yeah, and the reason I think it's a woman is because the name she posted under is a woman's name, and her e-mail address sounds feminine too. But it's true - you never know on the Internet - it could be a dude!

I looked up how to block her IP address, but I don't have the latest version of WordPress, and it's not an option in the old version (or I can't find it if there is). So I need to update first or keep searching. In the mean time, if she comments again, I'll just delete it.

Nice people can really suck sometimes.But from what i read into your story i think you will make a great mother and YAY to the shoes what girl hates shoes its probley some guy who got burned by some girl in his life this is the kind of opinion you throw in the garbage. Sorry that happened! I have a blog too and just waiting for that to happen. She's obviously a jerk with nothing to do and I bet she posted anonymously. You just have to laugh at her. I actually feel sorry for her...I hope you don't take it to heart.

I am new to the boards but reading your thread made me thinking of something that my cousin's former (woohoo on the former haha) wife said to me one time. She is about 2-3 years younger than me and had already had one child, pregnant with her second. She said to me one time, "I know why God hasn't given you a child yet, because he knows you're too immature to handle it". EXCUSE ME!?!?! Wow! I cried like a little baby! I was definitely more mature than her in SO many ways!! That was 7 years ago but man, I still remember it like it was yesterday! People can be so hurtful and rude!! I agree with the others, don't be afraid to delete! People like that definitely need help!! Have a great night!

Where I come from we call those people haters! They are miserable evil beings that work hard to destroy another persons joy. You were right not to stoop down to their disgusting level.

You should be able to set your blog so that you can view the comments first. Keep your head up!

About 6-9 weeks ago, the New York Times Sunday Magazine ran a cover story about trolls. It provided an understanding of this activity and the people who are behind it. It was a tough read, but if you spend any time on line in a public forum, google it and check it out. If nothing else, it will confirm your belief that there are some really twisted folks out there with alot of time on their hands. Sorry that you had to find out the hard way about this downside of the internet.
