international and domestic adoptions.
Anyone out there adopted internationally and also domestic? We are on our 2nd adoption and the 1st was international. Some of the birthmoms that have looked at our profile our concerned by our international adoption. I guess that feel that it would be hard on one child to have no contact with birth family and for the other to have a more open relationship. If you have done both, what are your thoughts on this? I feel that each child is different and are going to have different types of relationships in their lives. Sometimes I feel that these birthmom's are not giving us a chance.

I haven't BTDT, but I have a son through domestic adoption and his birthmom wants no contact at all, so even if we adopt domestically again, we could still have one child without birthparent contact and one with. Best of luck in your journey!
