Crazy First Words

We all hear pretty much the same first few words "dada" "car" etc....

Anyone have an unusual one? E says Dada, Car, Achoo and a few others. He struggles with fish "shhhh" and watch "Cha" but today, clear as a bell he looked at an ear of corn and said

"CORN"

Kook....

Any others?

Well besides MA and DA (he is 13 months) he now says BA (ball) and BOO (balloon) and TEE (teeth). Don't think those are funny..except maybe teeth. He LOVES to brush his teeth. If I ask him "do you want to brush your teeth?" he hops up, toddles to the bathroom as fast as he can yelling Tee Tee Tee.

The hard part is getting the toothbrush back from him.

Oh DS LOVES anything to do with grooming. He steals my hairbrush and tries to brush his hair, LOVES to brush his teeth and get mani-pedi's....when i need to give him his medicine he runs up with his mouth open. It wouldn't be so funny if he wasn't such an active little boy's boy.

So yeah, but we should be glad they love their toothbrushes!

JD's first word was dolphin...Wierd, I know. He had a dolphin tub toy, and I'd say it over and over when we were playing. Lo and behold, he repeated me one day!

A few weeks later, he said mama, dada and ball. Then he didn't say another word until he was almost 2.

Katie's first word was "Oscar" the name of our cat. She pronounced it "AHHH CAR". We were hoping for Momma or Dada. Never did get the Dada, got Ed-dad instead which early on sounded a lot like "idiot"

One of M's first words was a doozy. He loved trucks - so he CONSTANTLY pointed them out and yelled "TRUCK"

tho unfortunately, at one years of age......the "tr" noise came out "F"

ah.... c.a., I love the "get down". That's too funny. Anyway, I don't remember any of my kids having anything unusual for their first words, but my DS's first sentence was "where's the beef?.

DD's second word was "uh oh" and she had to use it often.

Shiloh's first word was dada and mama followed shortly after. The funny thing is that when she first started associating mama with someone it seemed to be our dog more so than me. It seemed like 75% of them times she said mama she was looking at/pointing to the dog.

That is so funny because C is the same way. He walks around the house brushing his hair with his little baby brush.

That's familiar...E calls every single man Dada....

it is very embarrassing! I mean I don't have THAT many boyfriends!

He also calls me Nana sometimes which also means Banana which also means Manny (his doll's name) so it gets very confusing! Though at least I'm not a dog!
