Your Favorite Shopping Cart Cover?

My friend gave me her old high chair/shopping cart cover. I used it for the first time on Sunday and could barely concentrate on my shopping because I had to constantly reposition Devin who decided the shopping cart handle was yummy. What's the point of a shopping cart cover that doesn't cover the handle and sides???

So tell me what's your favorite shopping cart cover???

I need one that covers the handle bars and side of all shopping carts (even Costco ones).
I need one that isn't too fluffy because year round we have hot and humid weather with scattered showers. (I don't want him sweating in a soaked seat)
I need one that doesn't take 10 minutes to put off and on.

Thanks in advance! I hope to buy one on Wednesday.

I've somehow gotten away with not using one. I just wipe his hands down at the end of the shopping trip! I do wonder if I'm making a mistake though!

We bought one from Target that tucked inside itself and carried as a bag but only useded it a few times. DD would fall over so much it was easier to just prop her in there with my purse on one side and that kept her busy.

I did however finally buy a hipcarrier (used) and that was the best. It kept her on me and she didn't topple over.

I've never used one. Just viewed it as something more to haul around, and heaven knows I had my hands full enough!

And yes, my children would slobber on the handle, etc. Everyone survived, no hospital visits, third eyes, or extra lumps.

Honestly, the media has made parenting so fear filled in today's society its just amazing. The advent of antibacterial products has actually been shown to make children MORE likely to become ill and have weakened immune systems in homes that use it than not.

I have the Buggy Bagg, it's the easiest thing in the world to use... you can get it on the cart and positioned properly with one hand. It covers all exposed areas and folds into its own carring bag and is easily carried inside the store.

My DD seems to be very comfortable in it.

I got mine at Babies-R-Us. I really like it...it is so easy to put on and take off and it have multiple uses. It works great on those wooden high chairs that they have at resturants too. It is a little pricey but you might be able to find it somewhere else for cheaper.

I second the Floppy seat!! You can throw it in the washer, and it covers everything. I it has little places to hook toys too... It is one of my new standard baby gifts (along with the Bundle me for winter babies!!)

I never bothered with one, and he's been sick 3 times total. I don't think they're really necessary.

Wipe the cart quickly with a baby wipe...I've never used one either.

I do the same with restaraunt high chairs...

I'm another one who never uses one. I just give it a quick swipe with a wipe. Recently our 2 grocery stores in town have set up little stations by the carts with disinfecting wipes, and when they're not out of them, I use those. Otherwise, a swipe with a wipe gets most of the grungies off, I figure. A few germies won't hurt.

Thanks everybody for the replies. I was contemplating not getting one either, but he's already had a bout of pink eye, which took 2 weeks to get rid of.

And our grocery store was out of the disinfecting wipes for the carts and I usually keep some in my car, but they were all dried up.

I am considering the Floppy, but we don't have Target or Babies r Us here and I couldn't find it at Toys r Us yesterday. I'm also considering Baby Ease Clean Shopper...does anybody have any experience with it?

I second the Buggy Bag. It's big enough for the biggest carts and super easy to put in one handed. Got it at BRU.

I love the Buggy Bag too!!! I've had a couple others that were just annoying to put on and take off. It also has a great zippered pocket for your wallet, keys, snack, sippy, etc..
