Great news!
Cameron did just fine! He's extubated and in recovery. The G tube is in place. The surgeon said everything looked unremarkable. Oh what a relief that is to hear! After months of getting bad news from surgeons, it's nice to have things just be normal.
Thanks for the prayers everyone. I should see Cam in about 45 minutes. Hopefully, his pain management is easy to manage.

Thanks everybody. He's gotten versed, morphine and toridol so far, so he's fairly comfortable, which is a big relief for me. Right now he's sleeping. No tubes on his face and his G tube isn't even draining. And, he has one of our favorite nurses today.
Hopefully, I'll only have to sleep here overnight and we can go home tomorrow, if not the next day.
