OT: What is your child going to be for Halloween?

I don't know if this thread has already been started or not (couldn't find one on here) anyway, thought it would be fun to share with each other on what our children will be dressing up as.

M is going to be a peacock! I found this online and just loved it! I tried it on her once, the day we received it in the mail, and M didn't like it, so I am just hoping now to get a few good pictures and make it to the in-laws on Halloween. Here's the link...

OMG, that is sooo cute!!!

Still no kiddos here. So, we will stay home and hand out candy. Our neighborhood gets hit hard so we have to buy LOADS of candy! Its so fun to guess what each child is, last year I bet we had 10 little batmans. Of course many pirates too.

Holy Toledo! That is freaking adorable! Can I use it next year? It would work for a boy too right?

My sister insisted that her two girls and Ty be something together. I wanted him to be something cuddly and cute, and told her once I picked a costume she could figure hers around his (HEY, it's HIS 1st Halloween...and I only get so many years where I can pick the costume!) I search on-line and found a bear costume I liked, but haven't tried it on "Mr. Growth Spurt" yet. Hopefully it fits. My nieces are going to be a Lion and a Tiger. I think we might take them to Walmart for one of the cheap picture packages We toyed with the idea of the grown-ups dressing as Dorothy, Tinman, and the Scare Crow. But that would leave us one adult short (I think....wasn't the Lions, and Tigers, and Bears (oh my!) part of Widard of Oz before they met Lion?) So I think us adults are going to just sit it out.

DD is going to be a ladybug. Unless of course she's grown out of the costume by then, in which case it'll be a lion.

Aclee...yeah, I will send the costume your way next year! It definitely is a good costume for a boy or girl I think. I ordered the 12-18 months for her and it is a little big. M will be almost 13 months by the time Halloween rolls around. I read online that this costume runs very large, I probably should have ordered the 6-12 months, but oh well, it will work! I read that the 12-18 months should fit up to 24 months, so if anyone wants it for next year...just let me know!

My 17 year old daughter and her best friend have been Jonas Brothers fans for almost four years now. Gone are the days of free concerts...loved waiting all day to see them. Anyway, they are dressing the three boys as the Jonas Brothers and they will be the groupies....of course that means they get to supervising the trick or treating. Lol.

Goldfishy!

When baby Nate gets hungry and sees the bottle, he will kick his feet, wave his arms, and make little sucking sounds! We refer to this as his "hungry little guppy" routine. No guppy costumes, but we did find a goldfish!

Amazon.com: Goldfish Bunting™: Toys & Games

I forgot to mention that the costume is really for pics and the party that my moms group is having. He also has a short sleeve black skeleton onesie and a long sleeve pumpkin onesie to wear underneath and after the costume part. I wasn't sure about weather - so I wanted to be prepared! Oh, and matching short socks, and legwarms that I made just to cover all bases! I just can't help myself!

Daniel's grandma is making him a Frog Prince costume. It's too cute! He'll have no idea that it's Halloween, but I'm going to enjoy taking pictures.

A puppy dog! Josh LOVES all things dog, and I grabbed it at a garage sale, which makes it even better! It's designed like a long sleeveless sweatshirt/hoodie but has "fur" and the hood is the head. I need to find a dark shirt to wear underneath it and I want to see if he'll let me color the tip of his nose black. We'll see how far he lets me get with it!
