It's okay to be happy!

Seems like the world is kind of crashing lately with everything going on. It feeds here too, which is to be expected. I wanted to start a thread to focus on positive things though and see how much happiness is out there.

I know it's there people! I see it every day when the sun rises and I'm reminded that it's a new day. Yesterday is past and whatever mistakes I made are over and today is a fresh start.

So for today at least...share your happiness. What is good in life and you are thankful for? I don't care if it's your kids, your job, you have food in the fridge or something silly like being happy your third eye on your forehead finally popped and you can go out in public again without people pointing at you.

Today I'm happy because.....

Congratulations on your finalization Supa!! Don't forget to journal tomorrow night every single thing you felt, saw, did, and even what the weather was like. It's truly amazing how much you forget as time goes on!

Love - Good health is happiness indeed and nothing simple about that.

Slug - nothing warms you up like that smile, eh?

Thank you!

YES! It IS ok to be happy...and I am very happy!

I mastered (fought with) a silly little scrapbooking program (was an accomplishment in itself....buy a good one, it's probably easier to work with than the cheapo basic version I got!!) and created our profile. It's lovely (if i do say so myself). It's honest and real and just simply us (maybe even boring to some). I looked at it and I felt happy, truly happy to see my family...even if it stays as is, it's my family right there!

It is a beautiful day.

7 years later my relationship with DH is better than ever.

We are going out on Saturday night in Manhattan!

Financial situation is under control.

E's immune system kicked his latest cold to the curb in three days!

E is a miracle. So grateful for everything we have and most of all our health!

I am happy because my new PUPPY came home last night. If a puppy with a constantly wagging tail doesn't make you happy, nothing will!!!!

Congrats, Supa, btw!

(ps: I love the fall...i am always happy in the fall....don't make me start thinking of winter, though! haha)

I am happy today because this week ds is off of school. Today we are going to McD's for lunch, then off to the library. I love it when my kid are home.

Congratulations, Supa!!!

I am happy because today is my partner Elizabeth's birthday and Daniel and I are busy decorating the house and making a cake (okay, I'm taking care of most of that. . .) so we can surprise her with a little family party when she gets home from work. She thinks her birthday party isn't until the weekend.

And I'm happy because I get to walk around with a gorgeous baby boy who grins at me and makes farting sounds against the palm of his hand while we work together.

Thank you for this thread!

I'm happy because I got smiles from both my kids this morning.

I'm happy because my kitten (ok, she's not technically a kitten anymore) squeaked at me this morning.

I'm happy because I can see some sunshine!
