I'm happy, because the flu I've been fighting is starting to subside. I just kept down a nutrigrain bar...first nutrition in 36 hours. I'm happy because after reading LA's story it stayed down!

I'm am happy today because an airplane didn't crash into my house.
 I'm happy today because we didn't get 3 feet of snow (it's Michigan, ya never know).  I'm happy today because I didn't blow a cerebral aneurysm while writing out bills.  I'm happy today because the dogs only ate half of my lunch while my back was turned wiping Katie's butt after she pooped.  I'm happy today because our kitten George didn't bite my toes every time I moved my foot while I slept last night.  I'm happy today because gasoline is down to 3.36 a gallon (wooo hooo....3.36....can you believe it).  I'm happy today because my fever is finally down below 100.0F for the first time in two days.  I'm happy today because my lower back only feels like one red hot knife is sticking in it instead of 100 red hot knives.  I'm happy today because my wife gave me a new nickname today....."Mr. Positive!".  It can't get any better than this!  Edited for spelling and grammar - doh!

Ed: $3.36?! It's $3.51 at best here. I swear we're always the highest in the state.
Lovea: LOL! I should have said today I don't feel any different than I did at 21. There are definitely mornings that I feel a LOT older. But one day at a time, right?

I am happy today because I was able to sit and snuggle with my 2 boys this morning.
I am happy today because I got a sweet good bye kiss and an "I love you" from my dd before she left for school this morning. I am ALWAYS happy because the Lord has blesssed me with a wonderful family that I love dearly. I am happy today because my hubby is my best friend. I am happy today because I can still say that about dh after 13 yrs of marriage!

I'm happy because our 12 hour scrapbook fundraiser is over and I made tons of money for the school!
I'm happy because we leave in 2 days for our annual fall trip to our cabin (and can afford it because gas is only $3.36 a gallon, just like Ed said!!) I'm happy because my DH stood up to my mother in law about where we're spending the holidays! I'm happy because tomorrow will be my 3rd time back to the gym! I'm SUPER happy because I've been doing such an ultra fab job at work that when we get back from the cabin, my boss is footing the bill for me to recarpet my livingroom, hallway and bedrooms!!!

I'm happy today because WE GOT RAIN!!!
And my cute little dog keeps scratching on the door wanting me to come out and play. Poor guy, it's too muddy. And yeah!!! It's 62 degrees.

First mom to the amazing Kiddo and adopted adult. 1-4-2009 Mom and I visit Kiddo despite the bad weather. He really loved the blue mittens I made him and even helped me plan my living room. Apparently Hot Wheels wallpapper is the way to go. 2-16-2009 I got a promotion, that comes with a raise. Mom and Dad are visiting and we're going to Al's for pie to celebrate. 4-27-2009 Dad surprises me with a Lady Ugly Stick (an awesome fishing rod that is pink) and a 2nd Iowa Light Artillery Battery jacket. I'm a lucky girl! 5-30-2009 Kiddo turns five. It is hard to believe he is that old already, it seems like just yesterday he was being born. I was at peace for the first time on his birthday, what a nice feeling. 6-13&14 2009 A cannon live fire in Casper WY. We got third place and I got to see Devil's Tower for the first time, it was pretty awesome. 7-4-2009 Amelia the kitten comes to live with me and Liz. Talk about jealousy, Liz will adjust though.

I'm happy because I got to get my kids ready for school this morning. We sang in the van all the way to school. My little one got hugged by almost all of her classmates when we got there.
I'm also happy because we sent our profile in to a referral agency yesterday and today they e-mailed me back to say they read our profile and they think we have a lot to offer waiting children. I know they probably say that to everyone, but it still made me happy!

I am happy...
in fact I just peed on the couch....
Tyler is currently in his Walk Around Exersaucer. He is racing around the table as fast as his little legs can make it go. I think his jeans are going to catch fire. It made me laugh, which made Tyler turn to me and clap while he wrinkled up his nose and snorted his snot bubbles in and out...he's just realized what a crowd pleaser the wrinkled nose and snorting is, and we always say YEAH! When he claps, so he knows the combo is deadly. And it was...I laughed so hard I had a gasping coughing fit, coughed SO hard, I peed on the couch. Seriously...can anyone top that?

I am happy because this weekend I found our ds's half-brother on myspace. I emailed him, and he answered. And their sister--
I am happy because this young man is delighted with the idea of having a "little bro" and wants to meet him soon! We are getting to know each other through emails--what a blessing for our ds!

1993 decided to start a family 1995 discovered problems 1995-1998 fertility Drs and surgeries 1999-2003 break from it all 2003-2005 thought about adoption but trying to find a way to afford it. 2006 decided to do whatever it took to create a family. Money should not decide a family! January 2006 gathering information applying for homestudy. July 2006 homestudy completed- we are officially waiting! I am happy today because my sweet little son is kicking bronchitis- breathing and feeling better. I am also happy because I bought a new eliptical trainer today and can begin working out again...
