I knew that! in fact aren't we the only species that drinks the milk of other animals?

My issue is honestly that DS just loves it.

soy milk

Our son's birthmom was from Mexico but lived in the states. We started him on regular formula (adopted at birth) and his poops were VERY loose. The pdoc said to try soy formula and we made an immediate switch. Much better results. When we tried cow's milk he got diarrahea so we're back to soy. We were buying 8th Continent but he will take anything. It has a very long shelf life so buy in bulk when on sale. The stuff we have in the fridge now expires dec 20!! BJ's and Costco any warehouse is a good place to go. Our son can also handle cheese without a problem. We asked his birthmom and she has the same problem. For us it is a cultural exposure. Anyone ever drink the water in Mexico?! Since it is not an allergy, we have been exposing him with cow's milk to build up a tollerance. No guarantees.
