One More Dumb Question

So DS is not a great walker. Slow in finding his sea legs which I've posted about before. Today the house is cold and I know he can't walk in socks. So what do you guys who have wood floors do with your little ones' cold tootsies? Do I have to put him in shoes and socks EVERY time he's not in his crib?

We have the GAP socks that have some tread but it's not enough.

Any suggestions?

We found some super grippy socks (can't find the brand at the moment as the boys are in there napping) and we also used slippers with grippy bottoms (we got them at the Gap). We could put them on really quickly and the boys loved them (they were bear slippers).

Jules you truly are the one to go to when it comes to anything for feet. I should have just gone directly to the source!

Jules - this is hilarious - I think we have the SAME slippers. Are they brown and fuzzy? I love them so much - they just recently wore out with a hole in the toe )-:

Anyways - back to you Storm - we have hardwood too and so just use Robeez while at home. And bear slippers from the Gap...

Karyn!! YES on the fuzzy and brown and YES on the hole in the toe!! WOW!

I was just thinking this morning that I need to order what they have for this season for our upcoming winter.

P.S. to Karyn and Storm - Karyn, can you agree with me that all slippers are NOT created equal? I loved the bears because they stayed on!! So, a warning to all of you "new slipper buyers" - I went through about 4 pairs that did not stay on and were not worth a dime.

Um, I think DD has those slippers too. The front of the foot is a little bear head and there's a little knobby tail off the heel?

Storm: As for E not finding he sea legs, let me tall ya, if DD was progressing any more slowly she'd be moving backward.

Woohoo! It's a Bear Slipper Club! I don't think mine have a tail though. But they DO have bear eyes and nose on the front. I have to admit - ds also had a fuzzy bear jacket to match, and I bought it they day we received his referral. Aww....

And yup, jules, I agree. As much as I support a fair and equitable chance for all...sadly, slippers do not fit into this catageory. All slippers are NOT created equal.

We do also really like Acorn slippers though - have you guys tried those?

Karyn I literally want to EAT him!!!!!!

You know i'm getting those slippers right now....

Nikki yesterday in the park i was in tears. Not only was he tipping over and falling down, he started crawling again! My heart was breaking for him and one woman said to me "are you going to help him get up" so that really put me over the edge.

Later I realized he was sick with a bad tummy. Today he walked much better. I have to say he walks better in his Bobox (Robeez type shoes) than his Stride Rights (another 25.00 down the drain!) This weekend I am getting him a few pair of Robeez Tredz. I'm so excited!

But not as excited as I am for his bear slippers!
