SS Card Question
We finally have DD's birth certificate after 9 months!
Do I need to take her to the SS office to get her card or can I go by myself?

It could be different with international (which is the route we took)....but I did have to have my child(ren) with me. Of course, this was also in early 06 and rules change so quickly.

Leave her at home! Seriously, the SS lines are always crazy long around here. Our first adoption was international, and I left the baby at a friend's house. All they need is the paperwork.

Yep, all they need is the paperwork. My DH went and got Cam's while he was still in the hospital.
