What was in your adoption travel bag?

We are currently matched with an emom in another state who's due in a few weeks. Hurray! But now I don't know what all I need when we get the big call. We wanted to get together a pre-packed bag. Here's what I think should go in it so far:

3 4-oz bottles
Formula
3 receiving blankets
Pack of newborn t-shirts
Newborn socks
1 package of newborn diapers
Pack of washcloths
Infant car seat (not in the bag, but you know)

Anything else that absolutely needs to be in there? We're trying to pack relatively lightly, but thoroughly.

Thanks!

Here's a link to a thread on the domestic adoption board with several lists (including mine):

We need a list of what to bring when your baby is being born in another State

If you could fit in a few more bottles I would just because feeding every 2-3 hours uses a lot. However, our hospital sent home a ton of the ready made bottles so you may not even have to worry about it! I would probably bring some pants of some sort (just mentioned shirts) b/c sometimes the hotel and stuff can be chilly if you're staying in one of those. You'll probably want to throw in some wipes and a travel soap/shampoo/lotion/powder kit. Again, things that the hospital our little guy was born in sent with us but you never know. You can always go out and buy this stuff when you get there too! If you can fit in a bouncy chair I highly recommend it! We didn't have one but we will for #2. It's just another place to lay them down and let them relax and be comfortable....there's not that many spots in the hotel rooms and they get tired of being held I think.

Good luck, I can't wait to hear an update!!
