Heart We got our court date!!!!!!
I just got the call from our agency and we FINALLY got our finalization court date!!!!

It's on Oct. 8th and I can't wait. I have been praying for this and god answered my prayers today. Yes he did!

I am on cloud 9 right now. This has been one of the best days of my life!!!!!!!

Yay! Ours is in a little over 2 weeks! It is funny because the first time, I could have cared less about finalizing. We had a bumpier ride, yet it seemed so uneventful. This time, I am counting down. This adoption has been easy breezy. We have not had one single problem or issue come up and everything has moved QUICK. So, I keep thinking the problem is coming. I just want to get it finalized so I can quit worrying! (Knocking on wood over here...)

10/07 - We start home study visits, requirements, and paperwork!
12/07 - Approved to adopt.
01/28/08 - Tyler is in our arms! He is less that 48 hours old!
11/15/08 - FINALIZE in St. Louis on National Adoption Day!

06/22/09 - Maybe we should do this again?
06/25/09 - Start the official paperwork to update our home study and make Tyler a big brother.
07/13/09 - Match with a 2.5 month old baby BOY!
07/28/09 - Matty is in our arms!

Well, if you can believe this, my little girl is almost 2 1/2 and we just found out we are getting a court date soon! We had a breezy process and nothing has gone wrong...except a few things out of our control! This has been a long time coming and I just feel so great that the end is finally in sight! Congrats-I know how you feel!

Congratulations! Our agency filed for a date on 8/29 and we're finalizing 9/19. We are working on the party planning in rush mode right now. Its so very exciting!

I never had a baby shower so now I am thinking about having a finalization party instead.
