I remember that day. I wish i could find the post but out of 2000 posts....wait I remember the date I'm going to look.

And we didn't have a court date. It was just a letter!

I never had a shower either. But my father's girlfriend literally LOBBIED her millions of friends for gifts and I got so much stuff every day was like a baby shower but the only other person at the party was the UPS man!

Awwww if you want a shower you have a beautiful shower!

Our adoption Finalized!!!!!! I knew it would be exciting and it is. I can't believe it!

Now I'm going to apply for a birth certificate and a couple of passports (English and American!)

I can't believe it. And I think it will really change things for me as a mother to know that nobody is going to take him away. I guess I really did need this piece of paper ...

And I hadn't remembered but Jalepeno finalized the same week!

I remember that! I had just started visiting this forum. Not too many days in my life can compare to finalization day.

Why not? It's for your sons benefit! We didn't really do much at placement so it's our time to show our kids how many people really care about them.

We had a 30 day TPR and I was just too scared to even think about it. Afterwards so much time passed I just figured it was too late. Besides most of my friends sent gift to me anyways so I figured how can I have a shower.
