Be safe!! And, go to Macy's if you can. They have a fantastic sale going on this weekend! The morning hours are even better! I think it is 9-1 that they have the morning specials.

No, it's that bad...I'm calling tomorrow morning for some serious highlights. Tonight I walked into my sister's and my dad was holding my niece..."look it's auntie Palin". It's the glasses, the cut, and my hair is more of it's natural color as of late...need some serious blonde and I'll be me again!!!

Vegas huh? hmmmmmmm... people do adoption fundraising all the time right?

WOW!! I go away for a day and look, 3 pages zip by!!!

Took me about an hour to catch up!

Yep, I agree lighter hair is better! Jet black hair adds years to your age, as do black eye liners and thick black mascaras... I dye my hair, then add highlights by frosting/framing face with lighter color dye. It looks like natural highlights.

I love lipstick, but for day wear I use tinted lip gloss or shimmer.

I haven't worn a size 2 since I was 8 or 9 years old!!!!

Mani/pedi's I do myself! The only thing I have going for me-great nails. I paint french tips or buff for a natural shine.

I love sweats! Not the plain ones, but the sporty ones.
Nike has some really cute ones. Rarely get to wear them as 9 months out of the year it is 75-95 degrees. A little too warm for sweats here...

I wear shorts and tshirts every day... People actually think I'm dressed up when I wear long pants! lol...

I want a new look!

I want a new look too - my hair is naturally red, but as I grow older, it's turning a dull brown...Not a beautiful chocolate brown, or a lovely honey brown, but a wierd, nondescript noncolor that I can only describe as brown because it's certainly not red, certainly not black, and not fully gray - haha.

But to get my hair cut and colored by the girl I love, it's $200.00....and I just can't get the right color out of the bottle. Oh well - we'll see...

Summer, have you tried mixing a couple of colors "out of the bottle?"

I mix three different colors -permenant stage three- I use light golden brown, medium reddish brown and medium brown sometimes light brown... This combination works good with my natural color. Of course the color combos depend on what color you want in the end. Hint, mix the colorant part one ONLY, not part two until you intent to color your hair...

I add part one of each color into a glass measuring cup, then stir lightly with plastic(no metal) disposible spoon till all colors mixed, then pour back into each part 1 bottle... Write on each package "mixed, ready 2 use"... That way I have three pre mixed colors ready to use. Repackage and use following directions as normal...

I have medium somewhat curly hair so if I try to let it grow out it gets BIGGER, mine doesn't grow longer it grows wider, lol... I had the perfect "80's hair!" Sad part is, its not the 80's and my hair doesn't know it!

Guys I hope we haven't dropped the ball here! I certainly haven't! Unfortunately things have not gone according to plan. As you know I finally got the mani-pedi.

This morning I finally got my Valentines Day Massage DH had gotten me back in February. It was fantastic. I felt so good when I got home I felt I was glowing. DH was checking me out too!

That's when he said it.

"Babe why are you walking so funny, you look really stiff."

So I replied ever so scarcastically...."Like Frankenstein?"

And he said "yeah, sort of"

Is a monster like a beast? Can we turn this around?

YOU CAN DO IT! I am sure you were just relaxed and he didn't know how to handle it. Or maybe it was your sexy swagger and he didn't recognize it anymore!

I am currently getting angrier and angrier at DH. He has an old high school friend in this weekend visiting us (him). He seems to think that means that he can have a pass on all things parenting. He has not been here at all this weekend. I usually get some time alone on the weekends, and I think it is what keeps me sane. I am starting to crack...........................................

D - OMG girlfriend I'm so with you. I already do 99.9 percent of the work during the week and on the weekends even though I"m still doing I'd say 70% he still feels it's ok to play golf!

And what can I say? Then he comes back with Cookie Dough Ice Cream! Sabatoging me again!

Don't crack. Listen I'm frankenstein if I can hold it together you can!

Well, I definately don't feel like a sexy beast...I've had to work Fri, Sat and Sun this week...Normally I only work 1 day a week, but am so behind on paperwork that I had to come in this whole weekend.

Maybe next week I'll get my hair cut...or polish my nails...right now, I'm just so tired...

Sorry, we didn't make it to Macy's. I did survive Hannah though.

Storm, I took your advice and got some Neutragena (sp) with light color and will try it tomorrow before work. I will keep you posted.

I also was able to take a nice long hot shower yesterday and shave. I feel almost Sexy.

I am BOMBING in the SB dept. today. Bombs away!

I had cobbler with ice cream for lunch and THEN I had some birthday cake. Seriously...that is much too much.

AND in the grocery store, my DH (who is oblivious!) said to me in front of the meat counter, "Hon, you really need to stop wearing that sweatshirt." And then he promptly stuck his finger in a hole near the neckline.

I am the anti-sexy beast today. I need an intervention.

I have to say that I'm about to turn into the mother of all she-beasts in about 5 seconds...

When I left for work Friday, the house was really, really clean.

I've worked about 30 hours in the past 3 days...It is a rarity that I work this many hours, but hey - it needs to be done, and we have tuition bills to pay...

So I come home today, and the house is DESTROYED!!!! Toys, clothes, dirty dishes, towels, candy wrappers, mac and cheese pans, on and on and on.

Seriously! I'm about to snap...and I just saw a commercial for Olive Garden, and now I want breadsticks, soup and salad...

What happens when you mix? Does if just blend your hair to a new color, or do part of your hair end up all the different shade like highlighting?

REmember to wipe your eyebrows and hairline gently with a tissue to remove the stuff because it goes on darker there. You might want to experiment on the weekend! Whatever if left on your hands after doing your face just swipe your neck lightly too!

BTW it's so hard to have political debates and look great....I'll give Sarah Palin credit for that!
