Well, if you want to express your disappointment with the choices you have, there is always the Libertarian Candidate - Bob Barr. He will be on the ballot in over 40 states. He has a Web site. As far as I know he has no connection to adoption, abortion, premarital pregnancy, etc. and he does have some government experience.

I agree with this too. For some innocent people this would be a fate far worse than the death penalty.

quote]Gossip & maligning. SIN! (as long as we're calling things as they are ) In this thread, we've all been guilty of ignoring our own sins while judging the actions of others.[/quote]

Exactly, that's why she looks like a hypocrite! She was pregnant before she was married, and it seems her daughter is following in her foot steps! I personally don't care if her daughter is pregnant and unwed. However, when you go around with a socially conservative agenda and your own home isn't practicing what you preach, you look like a hypocrite! Also, I'm AA and moderate democrat, so I AM biased towards anyone who says they're a social conservative. My parents, when in college in the 60's, were arrested for protesting the Jim Crow Laws in their state. So when I hear Social Conservative, I think about MY parents who were arrested for protesting discrimination. Mined you, MY ancestors have FOUGHT IN EVERY WAR this country has had and still had to go through the back door before MLK Jr. came and started the civil rights protest.

To me, Palin would have NO PROBLEM turning back the clocks of time for ALL people of color (AA, Asian, Hispanic and others) AND WOMEN! Plus, in today’s NYTimes there an article that’s VERY disturbing ( to me ) she comes across as a bullying dictator who’s very crass! So from MY POV, I am hoping she will "gracefully bow out" and stay in Alaska!

1-4-2009 Mom and I visit Kiddo despite the bad weather. He really loved the blue mittens I made him and even helped me plan my living room. Apparently Hot Wheels wallpapper is the way to go.
2-16-2009 I got a promotion, that comes with a raise. Mom and Dad are visiting and we're going to Al's for pie to celebrate.
4-27-2009 Dad surprises me with a Lady Ugly Stick (an awesome fishing rod that is pink) and a 2nd Iowa Light Artillery Battery jacket. I'm a lucky girl!
5-30-2009 Kiddo turns five. It is hard to believe he is that old already, it seems like just yesterday he was being born. I was at peace for the first time on his birthday, what a nice feeling.
6-13&14 2009 A cannon live fire in Casper WY. We got third place and I got to see Devil's Tower for the first time, it was pretty awesome.
7-4-2009 Amelia the kitten comes to live with me and Liz. Talk about jealousy, Liz will adjust though.
