Yeah It's Friday....
And the start of a long weekend for a lot of us.

Yeaaaaaaaa... TGIF!!!! We are heading down to Orlando and staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge- The room we're in overlooks the Savanna and we can see the animals from our patio-- I don't know who will be more amazed... me or my son-- I am a huge animal lover!!! We are going with one of my very best friends who also has a little boy-- We have always dreamed about vacationing together as Mommies with our kids in tow and this is our first opportunity-- Our previous vacations together were mostly "girls only" trips and are no to be repeated

8/27/06- met w/ adoption counselor 10/15/06- conference with em 10/15/06- matched! 10/21/06- ultrasound says.. IT'S A BOY!!!!!  10/21....- truly enjoyed getting to know our PBM & her family 1/4/07- The little man of my dreams is born- .. My Dad's birthday is tomorrow so we're cooking out and in the evening going to have a big family picture done. And photos of DD of course because I have some sort of compulsion that orders me to have a session done anytime she's near a photographer.
Beyond that, we're spending Sunday puttering around the lake at the in-laws and Monday probably just vegging at home.

We're going camping for the first time in ages! DH has been a homebody for a couple years but having DS is bringing him out of his shell, and the house! YAY!
I should clarify - we're camping in campers with electricity and running water, so, not exactly roughing it! And we're going with another couple and a single friend so it should be a great time!!!!

FINALLY, TGIF
We are going tomorrow to get new tires on my car and to get contacts for our youngest Son who will be 14  on Sunday which answers what we are doing on Sunday after church and then Monday we are CHILLING OUT ALONE at our house!!!!

We are leaving on Sunday to drive to KS from PA! We are going out for the birth of our daughter!!!
I am so anxious to just get going!!\\

Feb. 29, 08 - Met w/agency Mar. 29, 08 - Signed contract w/agency & hs May 16, 08 - Matched May 30, 08 - HS done  Sept. 16, 08 - Baby girl born Oct. 24, 08 - Finalized..she is all ours :March 09 - Phone call from birthmom...pregnant again April 30, 09 - Picked birthmom up at airport May 2, 09 - Heard & saw baby (ultrasound) May 25, 09 - Found out birthmom was smoking crack & pot while up here! Was smoking crack the whole time during pregnancy, was stealing from stores, trying to hook out of my sisters house...wouldn't keep her blood sugar under control, etc. so we had to give her a choice...go to drug rehab or go home! She decided to go home because she wasn't ready to get off of the drugs! She was planning on taking us for everything we had (her words) if it were to be a boy!(we would of found out on 5/28) My heart is still breaking!

My weekend starts Friday evening with an hour class of Tae Kwon Do then my birthday dinner with my dad and step-mom. Saturday 9am Tae Kwon Do class then my SIL birthday dinner. Sunday church and cleaning house Sunday and Monday.

IT'S COLLEGE FOOTBALL SEASON!!!!!
So that's what I'm doing. Aaaaaalllllllllllllll day tomorrow. And I couldn't be happier! Then I have a poker game tomorrow night - let's hope it's a winning day for me all around! No plans for Monday, so I'll just be enjoying the fact that I'm not at work!

We are BBQing with friends on Saturday (skipping a family party kinda sick of family at this point in the summer
 ) and then hitting the beach for one (or two) last time(s) on Sunday and or Monday. SUpposed to be gorgeous here in Jersey. I can't believe summer is over!!!! I'll also be watching Gustav and keeping my fingers crossed for NOLA....... Mega

all the AI attempts insurance would cover and one IVF attempt that insurance did not cover - before July 04 started investigating adoption - July 04 signed with agency - Sept 04 Homestudy complete April 05- "we're in the book!" Considered May and July 05 - not chosen DD born August 05 - we're chosen that same day - home in 24 hours what an awesome baby girl!!! Wish we went right to adoption!! WE'VE FINALIZED!!! FOREVER OURS 4/28/06  Working on domestic adoption #2 - submitted paperwork early Feb 07..... In the Books April 1 - no foolin'!!! Match fell through, end of June - bmom decided to parent. Disruption of baby girl in August - bmom decided to parent.... Matched - December 2007 Baby born Feb 08 - Welcome Baby Cakes!!

As TGM said, all college football, all day Saturday!!
Also, in about an hour we are heading up to W. Virginia to visit the inlaws. I suggested to DH that he and DD go while I stay home and have a weekend to myself...I haven't even had a day to myself since DD was born. No such luck! Everyone else have a great weekend!! GO BUCKEYES!!!
