Speaker: Susan Harris O’Connor, MSW – Transracial Adoptee and Noted Author

During this two-hour training, Ms. O’Connor will use her own story as a tool to better educate families on transracial adoption. There will be time allotted for questions and answers. Key points on how to deal with racism will be discussed.

$10 per person. Advance reqistration required.

It will only be me...we are still sorta sensitive about leaving Ty with a sitter at night. He can be a real bear in the evenings...

I want to bring my hubby but who knows if we can get a sitter. I wish they had a babysitting room cuz I want to see Ty!!!

That would be great...I didn't see it offered though. I think we could get a sitter...I just would rather he was home in bed. It runs till 9:00 I wouldn't be home till 10. Course we got home last night at 10...

Maybe...If DH wants to go, we'll try to get one.

Aclee, that's hilarious! My DH calls my internet buddies "the kooks" so maybe you should just wear a "kook" sign! heehee!

Sold, If your DH comes with you, *I* will wear the Kook sign. Then at least he would see we are kooks with a sense of humor.

Since you are in MA...this is sort of an MA thread...check this out...I get TONS of awesome stuff here...I've even volunteered so I could do the early shopping before.

Children's Drop & Shop


SO great They have events 2X a year. The Fall/Winter Event is in September, and they will release next week where it is and when. It's usually North Shore.
