Attorney ?
Ok, we have adopted three times, but with the first two we used local agencies that were full service, and the third time we went through f/a. We are now considering an agency in TX and we are in CO. We have found someone we like to do our homestudy, but there are SO many attorney's!!! On average how much did/does an attorney charge when you are working with an agency in a diff. state???

We did not need an attorney in our home state. We used one attorney in OH. His fee was $2000. That covered all ICPC, court fees, finalization, everything. We will go back to OH to finalize. It was much cheaper to do it this way than to pay 2 attorneys.
