Amazing
There is a program on Discovery Health right now that is all about women who didn't know they were pregnant till they get to the hospital and are delivering. This is just amazing to me that you can go a whole nine months and not know. Each woman on the show has a corresponding doctor that explains why they were unaware.
This is just amazing |

That blows me away! When I see all of my friends who are pg alot of them are so uncomfortable and can barely walk by the
9th month. I was just helping a friend tonight (who is due this Saturday) just walk around at a church function. It just blows my mind when I hear about women who had no idea they were pg until they're giving birth!!!! They must think they are having a wicked gas or something!! |

I knew I was pregnant, but I was certainly never uncomfortable. (OK, 2 random days towards the end, but the next day all was well.) At 30 weeks I had a physical and could still put my palms flat on the floor by bending at the waist.
The main thing you'd think that would be a give away is watching the baby move. Your abdomen pokes and slithers and no one's ever had gas bad enough to do that! |

One of my best friends went into labor while we were out shopping, we rushed to the hospital because we had no idea what was wrong. She only gained 5lbs and never missed a period. Needless to say she was blown away when they told her she was ready to push when we arrived, her husband was out of town and missed the entire thing, she called him after it was over and was waiting for the nurse to bring the baby in her room because there was not time before the birth.

Omg!

Now THAT is an amazing story ("Honey - surprise!")...I recall two teenagers who came in in labor and said that they had no idea that they were pregnant until the baby started crowning. I think that denial may have been a factor...

I went to high school with a girl who was RUNNING TRACK and started to complain of lower back pain. She went to the locker room, and the coach decided to send her to the hospital - turns out she was in labor! No one had any idea, including her!
I also recently heard about a former co-worker who is 36 and didn't realize that she was pregnant until she was 32 weeks! The baby ended up coming early, so she only had 4 weeks to prepare! She was not a big woman, and wore very clingy clothes. Nobody had any idea! |
