Does anyone here have family websites? We started one a few months back and it is such a great way to share photos and news. We have family in New York and it is a wonderful way for them to keep up to date with the happenings here. It was very easy to set it up and very inexpensive to maintain. I would love to see anyone else's website.

My husband has one for his business (he is a free-lance musician) and he has a page set up for our family's visit trip when we visited our son in Guatemala. We hope to start updating it now.

We have one and it is awesome! Not only do our friends and family from out of town use it, DD's bparents and families are able to watch her grow and see what she's up to between visits.

We use blogspot and it's super easy!

We have one to allow Castle's birthfamily to follow along with her growth, we include the entire family on it though! You can find it at the bottom of my siggy! ENJOY!!!!!

We maintain a website. We use it as a great way to share photos and updates with friends and family (this includes DS's bithfamily). After we started ours, my step-brother started one, as did my dad and step-mom, and a friend. It is a fun way to share what is going on in our lives.

My husband is a programmer...so yeah, we have a family website, and a video website...and we both blog...we have a server, and back our pictures up to 3 different places. I swear, he would get the computers out before me in a fire. Life with a geek....

One of my previous hobby was learning HTML and building websites from scratch. When Katie came along I went ahead and got her a domain name and set a site up. I still code most of it by hand in Notepad. It seemed and easier way of keeping everyone updated instead of emailing pictures. It's also acting as kind of a baby book/archive for my DD.

I did have it open for everyone to see but have recently secured it requiring a user name and password. PM me if you'd like to see it. I'll PM you a guest username and password.

I had a family website that had photos of our son, our house and our vacations. It also had the last 10 years of our christmas newsletters.

When I decided to adopt I took it down. I felt that it was important to have privacy and not have something out there that revealed our last name, where we lived, where we worked, where our families live, and health information.

Since starting the adoption process I have become increasingly aware of how easy it is to find personal information about people on the internet and I have worked to make my accounts that reveal information private.

I don't know what kind of relationship I will have with our next child's birthparents. If it is an open relationship where we exchange emails I may consider creating a website to share photos -- but this time it will require a password.
