We live in Dayton. No buckeye fans here though.
I was a Penn State, Notre Dame fame. My dh is a Hoosier as well as our oldest daughter.

We are in Kent. Steph, the agency we used was in Copley.
We are also Buckeye fans as well. My mom was an alum and a die hard fan!!

Jen,

I grew up in Kettering and now live in Cincinnati!

Glad to see Ohio is well represented. We are in the Cleveland area. DH is a die-hard Buckeye fan, I am not. I love Texas and Michigan. I guess DS will be a Buckeye fan by default. I have a video of my husband trying to teach him the Ohio State fight song (he was about 3 months old at the time!). I am life-long Steelers and Pirates fan. DS will not have a choice on that one!

I would love to meet at the zoo! Just an FYI, for those of you with zoo memberships, I have visited the Columbus and Cincinnati zoos also (1/2 off ticket price with the Cleveland membership). I loved the Columbus zoo. There is a small amusement park and water park also attached. I did not visit there, but they looked cool. The zoo itself was awesome and DS loved the aquarium. The Cincinnati zoo annoyed me. I found it to be very non family friendly because you could not take strollers into restaurants or indoor exhibits. It was so hot that day and DS fell asleep in the stroller. All I wanted to do was go inside to cool down somewhere and couldn't because of the stroller! Has anyone been to any other zoos that are close that they would recommend?

I used that same Copley agency for our second adoptions. Although we had placement through an attorney who posted a situation online.
I also used a Yellow Springs agency that I know some of you have used for our first adoption. Although we did not have placement through it either.

Are you fellow clevelanders home during the week? I babysit out of my house, but am free the first week of August. If you live in Cuyahoga county the zoo is free on Mondays.

Does anyone want to meet up the first Monday in August at the zoo?

We also used the agency in Copley, seeing as they are right down the street from our house. We got a zoo membership through the Akron zoo, but it gets us into Cleveland and all sorts of other ones. I have heard the Columbus Zoo is great, we are trying to figure out a time to get there this summer. Has anyone been to the Pittsburgh zoo, if so how is it? I would be up for meeting the first Monday, let me know if anyone else is up for it.

Well, we are heading outside to try out the new kiddie pool. Little Tikes in Hudson had their Christmas in July sale this past Saturday at their warehouse and DH went a little overboard!

We actually live in KY, but we are 15 min from downtown Cincinnati.

sadiegirl and solarscarlet - we are less than 1 hour from each other. Would love to meet up if you are interested.

We love the Cincinnati zoo (yes the stroller rule is annoying - sometime we just ignore it). I have never been to the Columbus zoo, will have to try it.
