Go Bucks!!

WOW!! I am feeling the Buckeye love here! DH and I both grew up in a suburb of Dayton, and now that he is in the Air Force we are blessed to be stationned at home for awhile. Its really funny because no matter how far we live from "home", there are Buckeyes everywhere! Our military friends just don't understand it; I tell them "Ohio State Football is kind of like a religion!". lol I'll have to check this thread for people in the Dayton area

Steph, it is part of a tournament it is U9 boys. It would be so funny if it is the same. We play on the Strongsville Stingrays.

We live in Brunswick (halfway between Akron and Cleveland). We are die hard Browns and Indians fans. Jaden has been to at least 5 Indians games already. In fact we were just at Progressive Field yesterday afternoon watching the Rays get swept. I haven't been to Amazone yet, but I am wondering what age it is appropriate for. I think Jaden would like it, but he is probably a little young still. Right now our favorite place to go is the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo.

Wolverines

We live in Columbus but I am a Michigan alum. GO WOLVERINES! (yes, it is very painful to live in Columbus, especially when the Bucks have kicked our butts the past few years).

Allison: Yeah, living in Columbus as a Michigan fan would be rough!

Human: Wasn't that great for the Indians! I was upset they got rid of C.C. but then they start winning, so who knows. We have not been to Amazone yet either, DS is still probably to young. We were just at the Cleveland Zoo yesterday, it was beautiful out and DS had a good time.

CJ: So true, once a buckeye fan always a buckeye fan! My dh was just online today trying to figure out what away game he is going to this year. Every year he tries to go to an away game so he can experience the different Big Ten stadiums. My students this year are convinced that DS is going to be a future Buckeye and Heisman winner, wouldn't that be nice!

Quies: My nephew plays on the U9 team. I will have to get hold of my sister and see when he plays. I thought she said Thurs., Fri., and Sat. we will be gone this weekend, but we are probably going to his Thursday game.

Kristy - Jaden would like Amazone. Part of it is an indoor playground. They have a side for little kids and another side for a little older kids.

We love the zoo also. We get a membership every year.

DH is home grown Ohio boy close to Cedar Point. We lived in Canton for a while too.

We have major issues because I am a Pittsburgh girl. But our kids have come to compromise that we route for college Ohio state and Professional Pittsburgh teams.

Great Thread, DH will have to read this!!

Quies: I am sorry they beat them so badly! I wish them luck this week!
