What to take to the hospital and during our stay

What to take to the hospital? Hello...I know somebody has posted a list of things to take to the hospital, but I can't seem to find it. We adopted our daughter almost 2 years ago, and were able to go home straight from the hopsital. This time...adoption #2, we will have to stay in the state that our son will be born in for up to 10 days and will be bringing our daughter with us at some point during the stay.
Can anybody suggest must have items....I have a list, but I know I am forgetting something

-bottles
-bottle brushes
-dish soap
-dish "rag", dish towels for drying
-food for you, DH, & DD to eat in hotel - like mac & cheese, spachetti o's, etc. - saved us a TON of $ instead of eating out

-wipes
-detergent for your clothes and baby's clothes
-pacifiers
-baby clothes, receiving blankets
-something for baby to sleep in (we just used a drawer lined with a thick blanket and it worked just fine!)

All the things Veggie said were great, but I want to remind you that you don't have to BRING it all. Getting out of the hotel is nice too, so we picked up a lot of stuff there at a Target. Also got a new GIANT duffel bag to get it all home. With so many airports charging you check bags and charging by weight etc, it might be worth waiting to buy what you can there, and leaving it there. We even bought shampoo and conditioner there (cheap stuff) and left it there. We bought a small container of free and clean laundry detergent and then washed all the clothes there too, at the on-site laundry mat. The major thigns that we made sure we brought were our laptop, camera, chargers for camera and cell phones...stuff like that. Good Luck!

We packed up all those things plus bought some while I was there as we had no time to prepare (last minute match). What I did find recently though is that a lot of times hotels have a pack and play that you can use while there. Just take your own sheets so that you can make sure they are cleaned properly. I wish I had known this before.

Great list veggiegirl! We ended up buying new clothes once we got out there though b/c I had bought 0-3 months and even though he was a little over 7 lbs, we needed newborn size. We also purchased a travel swing there so he would have something to sit in at the hotel. However, if I had known what he liked better I would have opted for the bouncy / vibrating seat instead!

Also don't forget to bring stuff for you in case you get to stay at the hospital, like a hair dryer!

Good luck!
