I signed H up for level 1 summer classes at Gymboree. We have class every Tuesday and I LOVE it!! Has anyone else gone to these classes? Great for new mom's.

I took AJ to Gymboree when he was 14 months...My friend has a son who's 1 week older, so we signed them up together...

We ended up meeting alot of great moms and kids, and kind of formed our own "group" from there...almost 6 years later, we still get together from time to time, and we've all become really good friends!

Not that I really see myself taking two babies to a class, lol.

I did it when I nannied in college! I loved it! We had fun and it wore her out!!!!

We don't have one around us now and our budget is a little tight...

Oh my gawd It's soooo fun! Basically singing, touching and really helping them with development. I think it was $140? for 6 weeks? Not sure my brain doesn't work much anymore

okay, this may sound stupid but how do you find a gymboree class? the only thing I can seem to find is the store.

That sounds fun... not in my price range though lol. I'll look up library activities in September...

Shiloh has been in level 2 Gymboree for about a month and a half now and we LOVE it!! Since I stay home with her I thought it would be important to get her involved in something like that where she can socialize with other kids! We have such a great time there! And during the summer ours offers a special where you can bring your kid to any and every class for their age at no extra charge since it's so hot outside! Shiloh and I go at least 3 times each week

regarding price, we pay $65 a month for the first 6 months, then it drops down to $55/month for the next 6 months, and after that it drops to $45 and stays there.

Yep! Here we have Rolly Pollies. They're spreading all over the country too. SO MUCH FUN and great not only for babies, but for mommies and daddies too.

What is the youngest age a child can join? DD is 4 1/2 months old..

Level 1 starts at newborn to 6 months. then it goes up from there.

It would be great at her age.

Hi, so we went to "The Little Gym" and I didn't enjoy it! The reason is that E resisted the walking (pulled his legs up), the rolling (arched his back), and FORGET hanging on the bars. He's just not even close! I'm going to try Gymboree.

It was quite a workout for me however carrying him the entire time through the motions of doing these very grown up things!

The best part was meeting two people with boys E's age and same stage etc...and getting phone numbers so that was good.

E was definitely the least cooperative in the class but then again it was their third time and our first....I was totally unprepared for it to be such hard work!
