DH want to Gulf Shores this weekend for a deep sea fishing trip and me and the kids decided to tag along. One man canceled at the last minute so our oldest Son got to go with them while I stayed behind with the two younger ones for a day at the beach. It was a quick trip, left Friday morning and returned Sunday night, but we had a ton of fun! Here's a few pictures of the two younger ones on the beach, DH and older Son on the fishing trip and one of a darling little girl who we met on the beach. Her name is Julia and she has cancer. I couldn't help watching her from a distance and decided that since she appeared to be alone with her Mom that I would offer to send her some pictures after we got home. Julia is 8 years old and such a happy child despite the horrible monster taking it's toll on her little body. I know she made an impression on me and I was able to see how blessed I really am to have three healthy children.

We didn't exactly go on vacation but here are pictures from this past weekend in North Carolina from my sister's wedding! Shiloh had a blast in the hotel pool!

God bless your for taking those pictures of Julia for her and her mom. DH is a cancer survivor and he wouldn't allow pictures to be taken of him when he was sick so there are very few visual memories of the experience. I know how grateful Julia and her mom will be to have those pictures.
