we're finally active!!
I'm so excited!! We heard from our agency today that we're activated and officially on the waiting list! We are now being shown to possible birthparents!!

02/08: decided to adopt- researching which avenue to pursue!! 4/08: application submitted with agency  6/25/08 - officially waiting 6/28/08 - Matched!! 6/28/08 - it's a girl!! She's born!!  6/29/08- We meet the most beautiful baby girl in the world & the amazing mother that gave birth to her!! 7/9 - ICPC has cleared - we can go home!! 2/17/09- Finalized!!! After dealing with infertility, IVF & a miscarriage I finally realize what God had in store for us! What a joyful time to be alive!

9/07 - Matched with birthmom through a mutual friend 11/30/07 - Homestudy complete! 2/27/08 - Match failed - birthmom never signed papers  5/5/08 - signed with new agency 5/12/08 - chosen by birtmom! 6/8/08 - it's a girl! 6/17/08 - Home forever with our little girl! 12/15/08 - FINALIZED!   5/7/09 - Homestudy approved for #2! 1/27/09 - present - several leads, but none have panned out.

 2-5-07 Signed with an agency  6-5-07 We are officially waiting for a match!  2-07-08  We got the call We're Matched!  It's a Boy3-30-08 Got the call- Baby is on his way- So are we  3-31-08 Baby boy born 4-4-08 We are home! 6-28-08 First visit with birthparents- Good day!!!! 8-20-08 Adoption finalized in the courts8-30-08 Finalization documents received

1993 decided to start a family 1995 discovered problems 1995-1998 fertility Drs and surgeries 1999-2003 break from it all 2003-2005 thought about adoption but trying to find a way to afford it. 2006 decided to do whatever it took to create a family. Money should not decide a family! January 2006 gathering information applying for homestudy. July 2006 homestudy completed- we are officially waiting! July 06-March 09 Several situations that didn't work out.. Our baby will find us, until then...We are 4-everwaiting for our angel  It finally happened after over 2.5 years of waiting, our angel found us!!! ... Baby Girl Born March 10th! Home forever March 19th, 2009

Congrats! I remember when we went active; it was just such a relief! You know you've done everything you can do; and the rest is just out of your hands now. It was a very freeing moment for us. I remember telling my mom I felt like I just got a +hpt

Due 7/08 6/3/08 - Baby F born. Surprise! 6/7/08 - Adoption plan fell through 7/11/08 - Matched! 20 month old girl and 3 month old boy 7/12/08 - The kids are in our care! Instant Family (just add water)! 3/20/09 - Finalized! We are legally, and in all other ways, a family.
