Adoption Research

I am conducting a research project on families and the changes in how they are formed in the U.S. I am especially interested in the experiences of families who have adopted children. My research thus far includes families with children from China, Russia and transracial families in the U.S. who have adopted African-American children. I am seeking non-transracial families who have adopted in the U.S. and who would be willing to participate in my research project. I am an anthropologist and the initial research is an interview, usually by phone, which lasts approximately one to one and a half hours at your convenience. It is intended to get a better sense of your own experiences. If you are interested, please contact me at: LSELIGM2@GMU.EDU
