Anyone here pregnant after adoption...or anyone doing IF tx's after adoption?
I don't want to post my whole story here but we have one vial of sperm left at our fertility clinic and I really don't want to just throw it away...this will be our last insemination (I think anyway, dh has already asked me this). We adopted successfully in July '07 when our Joshie was born.
I just wondered if anyone here is pregnant after adopting? Blessings, Michelle P.S. If a thread for this has already been started, please let me know...thanks!

I say go for it! I know plenty of women who adopted first, and then got pregnant afterwards. I did the opposite. I got pregnant with my son (via IVF) first, and then adopted my daughter six years later.

Michelle, good luck!!! I thought about going back to IF treatments (mostly because it is "free" here with my insurance) but ultimately for some reason have never been able to "go back." I would love to have another child though, and adoption is sort of "out of reach" for us financially right now. Let us know how it goes!!! I'm sure Joshie would be a great big brother.
