Anyone here on adoption #2,3,4, etc?

I just wondered how many of you were on their second, third, fourth, etc. adoptions?

We are doing one last fertility treatment and if it doesn't work, then we will probably adopt again but want to wait until Joshie is at least a toddler/preschool even maybe. We are also thinking about adopting an older child.

Also, if you are on more than your one adoption, how many here are using the same agencies, atty's etc?

Blessings, Michelle

We have two biological daughters and our DS and DD are adopted. DS was our first adoption and we used an agency in CA. (We are in AZ.) DD was a private adoption. Bmom was a former employee of mine and called me. We went through the county for the legal part. Very easy. Currently we are looking at different situations with facilitators. Not really wanting another newborn with just getting out of it with an 18 and 12 month old right now. Maybe a private adoption of a toddler or infant. But then I say information about a emom who is Armenian, and DD is 1/2 Armenian and that sounded interesting, as so few are placed for adoption. So, who knows how it will turn out. I'm driving husband crazy with all my plans! =)

We adopted twin boys through a Christian adoption agency and then we used them again to adopt our daughter. The boys were about 18 months old when we got on the adoption list again. It took much longer, I think because all the birithmothers using our agency were specifically asking for families with no children already, so they weren't really even looking at our lifebook at all. Anyway, the boys had just turned 4 when our daughter was born in December. We used the same agency and had another great experience with our birthmother and the agency. As of right now, this was our last adoption though. Boy, twins and an infant is pretty busy! But we are loving every second of it and she loves the boys and laughs at them all the time! The boys like to entertain her if they think she is fussy.

We have three adopted kids. The first two are domestic infant adoptions and our third is through fc. Even our fc adoption was a newborn; he was just 24 hrs old when we picked him up. We did use different agencies; hubby is military so we have moved around the country! We are in the process of getting recertified again to adopt number 4. This will be our final adoption I swear!!!!

Check out the 'Here we go Again' thread. I started that when we got home study approved for #2. I think eveyrone on there has adopted at least once before!
