Update
Hi Everyone.
I didn't want you to think I dropped off the forum once we were matched with our beautiful son! He has had a few special needs that have kept me busy. He has bad asthma so we have been on several rounds of steroids and breathing treatments around the clock for the past month or so. This is really the first time I have had to get online. I can say other than his asthma he is growing like a weed. I can't believe how much he looks like his older brother. I have 2 wonderful boys! TPR was done and we are just waiting to finalize. It's been a long two months of waiting for TPR, but it's finished!!!!!!! PLease let me know how you are doing! I think of all you often!!!!

Decided to Adopt 08/07 Chose Agency International Program Guatemala Decided to go Domestic 10/07 Went with an Agency 12/07 Homestudy started 1/08 Left first agency, went to another one 2/08 Homestudy approved 2/08 Waiting 3/08

Glad to know you are doing good. I am so sorry your son has asthma. My daughter had asthma and RSV at 11 months. We were doing the breathing machine every 4 hours. It is not very fun. Thanks for the update.

August 2005 - approved with 1st agency October 2006 - 1st match (she lost the baby at 7 months) November 2006- 2nd match May 2007 - birthmom chose to parent July 2007 - decided to switch agencies Jan. 2008 - approved with agency #2 July 2008 - placed with our forever kids - sib set of 3 November 2008 - suprise phone call and we added their younger brother March 24, 2009 - finalized adoptions for first 3 June 16, 2009 - finalize adoption for #4

Thanks for the update! Glad he's growing and I'm sorry about the asthma but it sounds like you're all doing great! Post some pics when you can!

Sno- so glad to hear from you. So sorry about the asthma. Must be tough on the little guy. And so glad that things are moving along nicely towards finalization for you. Take care of that precious babe

We've dealt with asthma more than once before; but maybe he'll eventually grow out of it? One never knows....but sounds like you're taking good care of it.

Sno~ So good to see your update. I understand about the breathing treatments- our little guy had a virus that settled in his chest- We are doing 4 treaments a day plus anitbiotics for an ear infection. We go back to the Dr tomorrow.
Isn't it funny- prior to bringing home my DS I was online ALL the time. Now I it is only every few days. I find myself having withdrawals : ) wondering what is happening with everyone. Hope your little one continues to do better : )
