Flat head!

My littlest princess has flat head syndrome. She has plagiocephaly. We are having an X-ray next week and then more than likely a helmet! We tried to work on it, but of course it got worse. Her ears are even off center.....anybody else have this issue......

I feel so bad for her.

Any fun ideas for her helmet?

I've seen people put cute bows on the helmet.

My bio son was diagnosed with plagiocephaly when he was 2 months old and wore a helmet for about 7 or 8 months. He was never bothered by the helmet (except being hot and sweaty in the summer.) He is 9 now and no one would ever know the flat spot was there. And the helmets have come SO far since then.

Try not to worry. It will more than likely be harder on you than on her! If you have any questions, please feel free to PM me.

Good luck!

Our son had some flatness on the right side but the doctor didn't prescribe a helmet. I was proactive in trying to get him to lie on his left side and his head got better but now it seems to be getting flat again. I'm just wondering if you know how flat the head needs to be before the doctor prescribes the helmet?
