Britax Marathon vs. Regent - opinions

Following the recent great thread about boosters and 5 pt. harness car seats for older kids, we're trying to decide between the Marathon and the Regent for Lilly, who is 2. (She's rapidly outgrowing her Roundabout.) It seems like it may be most cost effective to buy the Regent, which for the same price can be used up to 80 lbs.

I'm just wondering if anyone has any knowledge of how the Regent may not be the best thing for a 2 year old. She fits within the minimum weight and height specifications, but it just seems so huge.

Any advice appreciated.

We are buying the Regent for our next car set and I have a 3 year old. I would have no problem putting a 2 year old in it, based on what I've read.

Is there anywhere near you that carries both seats that you can try her in it? We did have the Regent back when it was the Super Elite and it is a great seat, but HUGE. It was the only thing on the market beyond 40 lbs and 40 inches at that point, and my son was a big boy, but even at 40 inches and about 35 lbs when he outgrew the Roundabout (at age 2) he wasn't terribly comfortable in it because he didn't have anywhere to lean his head in it.
