No doubt! I am very jealous! DH, DS and I are Dancing with the Stars addicts!

Haven't made it to run today as DS #1 threw up at school and is now home on the couch. When DH gets home tonight I will hopefully get out!

Congrats to all of you who are getting your running - or whatever you are doing - in!

Yeah, hopefully I'll get to go to a taping soon too (my brother knows one of the "stars" so as long as they stay on then we might get more tickets!)

A highlight would definitely have to be when I went to American Idol though!!! Season 2 baby!!

Ok, Dancing with the Stars AND American Idol?! I may have decided not to like you again! (Just kidding!)

So who do we need to be voting for to get you to the show? Might as well live vicariously, I guess!

Off to run - in the rain - in boring Michigan. I want to live in CA!!! )

WOW!! Every one is doing so well!! Per LA's request, I stayed up all night and baked cinnamon rolls for all of you.

Now remember I do enjoy the creative excuses and so far Brown is kicking all of your hinny's!! According to my list, she has come up with a sore butt, plans with Mom (sorry Debbie but that can be worse than shopping with a hubby), and my personal favorite... The accountant.

Yeah right. Like a bmom needs an accountant!!

As for the rest of you...

LA: Nice visual on the sweat flying everywhere!! LMAO!!

Chris: I guilted you into running? How can this be? LOLOL???

TGM: Ahhh.. The late night out. Since you are under the age of 30, I actually believe you. After 30, most of us are in bed by 11. No matter what night it is... Or maybe that's just me...

aallen: Love the combination of excuses... Shopping AND weather!!

Court: Speed on the treadmill?? I hope someone anwers for you. Currently my treadmill is a $400 clothes hanger.

Kimmi: I too am anti-run which does not explain the treadmill that lives in my house. Great job on the weights!

Debbie: Michigan? Isn't it a little cold to be running? Plus a vomiting kid?? I dunno there was an excuse in there somewhere... (Congrats on not finding it )

Hugs to all of you and hope I didn’t miss anyone - speak up if I did! I am an equal opportunity heckler!!

Here's your cinnamon rolls!!

LOL! We are up to a very balmy, though very wet, 59 degrees currently. Not bad at all if you dodge the rain.

After hearing about the vomit, DH had to 'work late.' When he gets home I am so ready to go run. At this point even running is perferable to vomit!

In the mean time the cinnamon rolls are just wonderful!

I need stupid Shannon Elizabeth to stay on......long story.

And American Idol was awesome when I went...such good times!

Oceans, I went out Saturday night and didn't get back to my apartment until about 2:30 the next afternoon. Yes, that's the life of a wild 25 year old. I felt soooo LA though - I'm talking secret bars with passwords and everything. Yowsa.

But seriously, I'm gonna try tonight after babysitting....

Oh my!! I'm not from California but I heard there was a place like that at Disneyland where they served alcohol. Maybe an Urban Legend. I assume you were not at Disneyland LOL

As long as you were drinking Diet Coke you may skip tonight's gym date. (Keep in mind, white lie's never hurt anyone!)

I have not run yet today - I'm not sure I have an excuse. Hmm I did get my haircut, visit with a friend, filled the gas tank, went to Target (got birthday party invites for one son and kindergarten "project" materials for my daughter and rootbear float supplies for another son), rescheduled a doc appointment and scheduled a pedicure, I also made the bed, unloaded the dishwasher, vaccummed and mopped. Ocean's you should be able to find an excuse in there somewhere.

Seriously I'm going to try to run tonight before it gets dark or else all I have to go to the Gym and do the treadmill. I don't like going to the Gym in the evening when all the beautiful people (read: cute, perky 25 year olds) are there.

Here's a 5K fund raiser. walkmehome.org that I just found out about. It's a national fund raiser aimed at calling attention to foster kids.

Northstar - Thank you for the link - I'm going to check it out!

Okay - I just did 2.5 miles. I live around the corner from a very long, very steep hill - I walk up it BUT I did the run/walk training thingy on the 1.25 mile downhill. It's fairly easy (hahahahaha) when you are listening to Katrina and the Waves "Walking on Sunshine". I did the same distance Saturday but I was a lot faster today (probly cuz I actually did some running instead of just slowly dragging my butt up and down the hill and faster is a relative term). Uhmmm but it was a little warm (82 and 78% humidity). I think I'm going to have to do my race before the summer or I'll melt!

LOL Suz - I had you in the running for the best excuse of the day... "I can't go to the gym because of all the the pretty young girls!!" It was priceless!! Beats Accountant's anyday!

GREAT job on getting out there.
