T-Mom, thanks for the dating-guy-young-fun-single person update I will live vicariously through you as well, so keep us posted !

Ajax - I have 2 weeks before our family wedding vacation, if you find a way to lose a few lbs in 9 days share with me as I could use the info . (Also the Nordstrom sale starts next Friday at 8 am. I think your daughter is just a couple years younger than my Em and I've been shopping the anniversary sale for her the last couple of years. I LOVE their cute "Rocker Girl" Jeans and I get them for I think $19 instead of the regular $32 price. I also get her school shoes and several other things. Really I think there should be a support group for mothers who buy their little girls way too many clothes).

Now there is a group I could really stick with, since this running thing I am not doing so well with lately!

And if you figure out that 9 lb thing, please let me know! We leave tomorrow morning for vacation and none of my shorts fit! NOT good!

FINALLY have a treadmill again. Ordered it online 3 weeks ago. Supposed to be delivered in 1 week, they'd let me know the specific day as it drew near. Called one morning to say we're coming, same day my new driveway was being poured. Thought maybe they'd want to wait. Had to wait a week. Delivery guys did not assemble it as they were supposed to. Apparently my store "doesn't participate" in the nationwide program. I assembled it. Then the last bolt, which pretty much held the whole thing together, didn't fit. Called the store. Since I bought it online, I could return it and they'd send a new one. Uh, no! They had one in a box in the back. They traded my bolt for theirs. The bolt worked. The treadmill is now workable. Whole family is coming in for the weekend and I have 2 day long trainings starting next week.

I think running a 3K might be easier than all of this!

Yay, can we do this again???

Okay, so I officially decided that running is not for me - but I'm not giving up entirely!

I go to Pilates on Monday and Thursday, take a hip hop class Wednesday nights, and ride my bike Saturday and Sunday. I rode about 15 miles yesterday, so I'm doing good on all that.

I'll still support everyone else that is doing the running thing! You guys are awesome and I wish I could try to run, but my knees hate me for it

Okay I am going to start this again! My kids start school Monday and I am going to "train" for the 5K if it kills me (and it just might). I am going to start on Week 1 Day 1 and do it for the whole 9 weeks.

I may even go completley crazy and start on WW again. Anyone want to join me in "training"?

I actually ran 4 miles on Monday (of course I haven't gone since). I took the baby and she seemed to enjoy it. Maybe I do have a new running partner. I am supposed to run a 5 mile run next weekend. I haven't trained like I should, but I am going to do it even if it kills me I've got to get on the stick. I am actually thinking of quitting WW. I am throwing my money away each month and I can't seem to follow the plan. I did great the first several months (lost 25 lbs), but I just can't get with it lately

Suz...I am TOTALLY in!!! My mom and I were just talking about getting a treadmill....so I can continue in the winter. I have the shoes....so I'm good to go!! I broke them in back in May, when I went to Chicago! LOL I guess they need me to get them out and start RUNNING!!!!! Part of me thinks that it would be great to get up earlier then I already do, and do it in the morning, before my shower....but really who wants to get up at like 5am to run!?!?!?

I CAN DO THIS!!!!!!!

I've been getting up at 5:30 to either run or walk everday. I'm not a morning person, but it's not as bad as I thought. I finished Week 4 yesterday and am debating doing that week again or moving on to Week 5.

Okay, I'm in as a motivator again! (Since I decided running is not for me)

BUT I did get a yoga mat yesterday and some light weights for my pilates classes. I have a nice weekly system of pilates twice a week, hip hop once a week, and my long weekend bike rides (well, long for me!)

So at least I'm up and doing SOMETHING. Let's do this!!!

Whoooohoooooo! Time to get busy!!!!

Tomster...I also love biking. My friend and I went biking a few weeks ago for over two hours, and it was a workout...we were at a state park and went a way we didn't know...KILLER HILLS were that way!!!!

I think I'll go biking tonight! thanks for the motivation!!!

Dawn...it is hard at first, but you do get use to it. The problem is I am a night owl by nature..but by profession I get up early. (I am so stupid..I do the scheduling!!! LOL) I can not make excuses, and since getting in shape is soemthing that I want to accomplish, I am going to have to take 100% responsibility!!!

Okay, so my biking isn't quite two hours in the hills of a forest...mine's more like leisurly biking on a bike path at the beach....but that still counts....right???
