My excuse for today is that I stayed up way to late reading TG's blog! I logged on to read the update about your visit and over an hour later I had to force myself to turn the computer off and go to bed. You are a wonderful writer and very insightful!

Thanks for sharing!

Well gosh darn it - if lame excuses doesn't work, then flattery absolutely most certainly will!

But seriously, shucks. You're making me blush.

Yikes! So I went to the gym tonight to workout with my trainer. Normally we do a 5 minute cardio warm-up and then lift weights. Well tonight I get there and she informs me that I have to run for 12 minutes and see how far I go! I wanted to scream, "But I'm only on week 4, that's not until the end of week 5!" I didn't say anything though and I ran for 12 minutes and went 1.13 miles. I thought I was going to puke when I got off the treadmill!

Thanks Debbie... The Superior Court (of my county): Adoption Division are bunch of mean ol' poopy heads!! This is why I’m pouty…

However... I did realize that MY 9 WEEK WAIT (for my non-id info which I am hoping to be id-ing) is exactly the time needed for all of you to run a 5K... So I have some fantastic news...

The time just DRAGS by...

Thanks for the cookie. It will nicely with my whine (good grief, even my sense of humor is suffering - I may sue)…

(((Oceans)))
I think that being stuck waiting due to govt. 'mean o'l poopy heads' is something pretty much everyone on this Forum can identify with at one time or another. Trust me, I can!

My opinion of our local USCIS office and their waits is not something I can write about here. Crick would ban me for sure!

Praying they come through and surprise you with id-ing info. much sooner than that!

Great job, Debbie!! I'm going to do w4, d2 tonight if it kills me (as I suspect it might). Court, amazing! 12 minutes? WHOOOOOAAA~!!! And you covered a lot of ground!

Tmom, I also thought your blog entries were so moving....I would like to pull out a "trite" thought, but I can't even think of a good one, except hugs!

Anyone run today? (How was Week 4, Day 2 yesterday Loveajax?)

Anyone have any cookies?

I didn't run today as I had class (worse than running!) but will do Week 3, Day 2 tomorrow.

I did however buy yet another pair of shoes today! Took the plunge and went to the running store and got 'fitted' as with the other shoes I bought my feet and knees still hurt. We'll see if the third pair is the charm!

What has it come to that I am now collecting workout shoes?! We may need to plan that trip to go clubbing with Thanksgivingmom before I go over the edge!

I have a few cookies left from my day of indulging... Everyone can have some!!

My excuse (cuz tonight's a gym night) is that I found my SON!!!!! Not just the non-id stuff from yesterday... I have actually with 99.9% certainty found him....

Or at least his parents...

And when I say *I* found him - I really mean is a certain person on this thread - who shall remain nameless - found him for me. Just know that this *certain person* has beautiful...

BROWNEYES!!!

So I'm floating around my house tonight instead of going climbing like I normally do... hehehe

I had a very athletic day so I'm probably going to skip out on that whole gym bit...but I actually still might go. Not 100% sure yet....might depend on what Jack has going on next door.

And as for cookies...well I'm actually BAKING cookies right now so I'm not sure that's really working in the right direction....oops!
