We don't give each other gifts usually for Valentines Day. We are just going to order in dinner and get some ice cream from Cold Stone for dessert. Yum!

Thanks to our wonderful babysitter and her hubby we will be having a nice dinner and spending the night at a local hotel (super nice room), with NO kids! I haven't decided on a gift for dh either. I usually get him something really small or just a nice gesture of some kind. I'd love ideas too!

We don't do Valentines Day, but this weekend we are going to a Dinner/Auction at our kids' school/church. That's our big night out for the year (lol) and boy I can't wait!!!

Wow...I sure could use some ideas everyone! It will be our 10 year anniversary and he buys what he wants when he wants so I never know what small gift to get him! We have reservations and a babysitter (whoohoo for us because it is rare....lol) but would love to get him something small besides a card.

Would welcome suggestions as others have asked!

We don't usually do gift for valentine's day, but we do nice gestures. This means much more to us than any material thing.

We are going to dinner Saturday night (thanks to the grandparents for babysitting) and DH offered to clean the house this weekend and to watch the kids ALL day so that I could do whatever I want. Now that is what I call a nice gift!!!

I love to cook so I usually prepare a gourmet meal and we get dressed up and he builds a fire and we take out the china & crystal (which we very rarely use lol) and just have a romantic night in. I also make chocolate covered strawberries for dessert. I love Valentines day!!!!!!!

Nothing this year. We might be moving 130 miles away...won't know for sure until tomorrow afternoon. If it happens, we will be looking for a place to live on Valentine's day.

The kiosk in the malls usually do engraving and offer many silver items so you could do a frame of your family or just you and your husband and have it engraved with the date or a special message. They have many other items which you could have personalized and it is something that marks the date forever.

Ok, no hubby here, just a boyfriend of almost a year now... sheesh, craziness. Anyway, I got him a book, 159 toys for the boy engineer to build. He wishes he would have been an architect. I couldn't pass this up.

I got DH a GPS for Christmas since we bought a travel trailer this year...he loved it. I have no idea about V-day...usually we don't do much. Especially with it being mid-week. Although we ARE going away in the trailer for the weekend after!

My DH is annoying me, so I think I want to give him this poem (haha...my secretary sent this to me today, and I had to share):

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl "Will you marry me?"
The girl said: NO!"

And the girl lived happily ever-after and went shopping,
Dancing, camping, drank martinis, always had a clean house, never
Had to cook, did whatever the heck she wanted, never argued, didn't
Get fat, traveled more, had many lovers, didn't save money, and had
All the hot water to herself. She went to the theater, never watched
Sports, never wore flippin' lacy lingerie that went up her butt, had
High self esteem, never cried or yelled, felt and looked fabulous in
Sweat pants and was pleasant all the time.

I could use so help to, because Valentines day is also DH's husbands birthday and our anniversary. I do know that my daughter is getting her boy friend a wooden picture frame where they engrave the names on them . Pretty cool, because they do the names bigger and the wood is a different shade than the frame.
