CONGRATS Linny!! Can't wait to hear more about your little one.
I haven't been on in awhile, so it's been fun to catch up. We were sort of matched/ communicating to a emom and then last week she decided to get married to the edad and they are not placing anymore. It was bittersweet. I was happy for them and and sad for myself. But I just got a phonecall out of the blue from my husband's co-worker who said she "knows" someone who is due March 11th with a boy that is looking for a family for her child. I gave her our info and I have no idea if we will hear back or not. Gotta love the emotional rollercoaster that adoption can bring, right?

We are currently working with just one agency. We were looking for a full Caucasian (our dtr is as well and we were hoping for the same) but open to other ethnic mixes as well.
We actually got a call last night, so hopefully this is the one.....it seems to be a little harder and different with the second adoption.....every month that goes by is another month older for my dtr and I really wanted them close in age.... Good luck with your new little bundle of joy.....babies truly are the best!

Congratulations Linny! It gives me hope when it finally happens for someone.
The only situation that we've been contacted about is still deciding if she wants to make an adoption plan. However, it is for twins due this summer. So we will continue to hope and pray that our child(ren) will come to us soon.

Well tomorrow will officially be a week since we started placing ads for our 2nd!! No phone calls yet. Ring phone Ring!!
I don't have as much time to obsess about it this time, my little sweet pea keeps me busy. Its so weird though, the waiting is bringing back so many memories. I am scared to go through another failed adoption, but I know its a risk we have to take. God has a plan, I really know that now and I have to wait to see what it is. I keep thinking of what the baby will look like, if he/she is in the emom's belly right now, what our next baby's birthmom is like, how she is doing, does she know I pray for her everynight, I can't wait to meet them both. Oh, and I really can't wait to see our angel as an older brother!!! He will be the sweetest big brother ever. I think the hardest part is not knowing when its going to happen, is it a month from now or a year from now? Ugh! So is anyone waiting to hear anything also???? I'd love to share our stories as we go for our rollercoaster ride!!! Good Luck to all!! And Congratulations Linny! I'm kinda new here and I dont know you, but it gives me hope that there is another angel meant for us!

Sams mommy- I wish you luck. I often wonder if our child is in their birthmothers belly and what they are doing right now.
Linny- I'm excited to get an update. As for us we now have our profile going to two potential birthmothers. Both of them are due this summer. However, I'm not getting too anxious because I've been through this so many times recently and nothing ever seems to come of it. But, Hey....I guess there is always a chance
