Fingers crossed for you. Our baby girl is doing great - and we are still over the moon. Today is my last day off, Monday I go back to work and DH stays home for 6 weeks. He was literally dancing during breakfast this morning...

heading on a vacation without any children. i am so excited. i did tell emmom i would be gone. her ultrasound is on monday. i have arranged to call her in the afternoon. my cell doesnt work there, but email does. i dont want to hear about the ultrasound in an email though. is that wierd? so i will have to figure out how to place an international call. should be interesting. have a good weekend everyone and good luck!!!!!!

My phone rang earlier. It was about 8:30. Too early for my husband to be calling to say good night. (He is a restaurant manager). Too late for any business type calls. I raced to the phone! It was a friend. We were supposed to have a playdate tomorrow, but her little one got sick, so she was calling to cancel. Man you think you have settled into the wait and then your phone rings unexpectedly!!

Marci - I jump everytime the phone rings. I just can't help it. My husband laughs because as I'm running to get the phone while it's ringing I say "I want the agency to call".

Chris - I'm sure that you will be anxious all weekend, so I hope you hear something soon.

Lucky for me I am working this morning and that should keep my mind off it till about 2pm Maybe I will take my boys to do something this afternoon, that will help too. I've been working all week, so I think they are missing mommy a little. Of course I have the next two days off, so we will see how that goes.... I am still feeling very calm about this. Kind of strange actually. I feel like I will be a little surprised if it works out, but that is exactly how I felt with ds. We shall see...

Marci, you sound like me. We were out this evening and my cell phone rang in a very strange way, I was like "what" do I have a message or something and I looked and it said "restricted" and I thought nobody ever calls me with a restricted number. My heart skipped some beats as I answered but it was Sami's soccer coach calling to let us know about this season! I was like "oh man"

Well, it happened to me last night. My phone rang around 7pm. DH was home, I had already talked to my best friend, and my parents are out on a cruise ship somewhere. Who else could it be (not to mention I was kind of hoping for a call from the agency)? It was my brother! He never calls me!

Okay these fake out call posts are making me nuts. I start reading them and get very excited and then I am let down. I guess that is how you felt when the phone rang.

I remember those moments all to well with our first. Yet when we got "the call" on my cell phone I didn't answer because I was busy and I figured it was another false alarm. Goes to show that waiting for "the call" is like boiling water. "A watched pot never boils."

On our recent journey we have had to delay our homestudy, because our entire family has been sick with the flu for 2 weeks. We all keep getting fevers over 103, so our doctor basically quaranteened us this past week, but tomorrow I get to return to work hopefully. As soon as we are all better I will call the homestudy agency to let them know that our home is germ free.

the trip has been crazy. our flight was canceled due to a broken plane. they re-routed us. we were supposed to have 2 legs of flying to get us here and we ended out on 5. we traveled almost 24 hours. dead beat tired whenwe got here, but at least we got here. now the relaxing and fun begins.

talked to emom today. she went to the ultrasound. and guess what...... the baby is a .........
they couldnt tell!!!!!!!!!!!! what? first she said *i think its a girl.* then, *no maybe a boy*. well, its maybe a boy but i wouldnt decorate the nursery. ugh!!!!!!! I WANT TO KNOW!!!!!!!! talked to emom for an hour. long distance - international. $2 a minute. hubby is going to freak out when he gets that bill. oh well, it was worth it!

hope the waiting goes quickly for all of you. the phone ringing is so painful and so silly. i was on edge just reading about it. keep busy. as if your not all busy. just cant get it out of your mind is the problem. know what? having been pg many times myself - its the same to be pg. always thinking about it and wanting to just not think about it for a minute. so no matter how your baby gets here you still think about it ALL THE TIME!!!!
