Do you guys remember the pbm we met two months ago? Well, after our meeting we heard nothing, not a peep from her. So we've moved on and found a second agency and just finished the paper work with them this week. To celebrate this new hope we also planned a vacation which was to start on Friday.

Well, today our original agency called and said that the pbm we met with came in today and wants to place the baby with us. She also said she just went to the Dr. and they think she will be going to the hospital in 24 to 48 hours to deliver! We are busy and excited to say the least. please keep us in your prayers!

I received a call 2 days ago from my case worker. She had received a call from a DFS worker that we were working with about 10 months ago regarding a little girl (Miss Adorable ) that I had met at a match party. Unfortunately it did not work out at that time due to biodad coming back into the picture. However, the bios were unable to commit to the case plan & now adoption is the route they are on again. The DFS worker wanted to know if I was still interested. I said, "Absolutely!". I could not let go of this Miss Adorable back then. I felt like she was already my baby. I was heartbroken when it didn't work out. So now I wait in hopes that I am not disappointed. My caseworker is going to let DFS know that I am interested & get back to me. Now I am going to be on pins & needles until I hear something. I almost forgot what it felt like to play the waiting game.

Also, my son is really excited about possibly having a sibling, but I wonder about how he will adjust. Does anyone have any ideas on how to prepare kindergarten aged children for a sibling? Should I continue just talking to him about it? Please PM me with suggestions.

We're still waiting for the call to go to the hospital. On Wednesday she was at 2cm and anxious to deliver. This is her 4th baby so she really was hoping it would happen Wed. night. But, it didn't, so we will wait.....

Now I just stare at the phone all day

Lolley, how are things with Ms. Adorable?

I wish I had advice on how to prepare a little one to become a big brother, but I'm working on that right now myself.

I'm reading DS the big brother book by Joanna Cole and trying to get DS used to waiting before I react to his every demand.

Okay here is the situation...pbm has not contacted agency or answere phone calls for a few days now, and we knew she had an appt. today. So the agency is starting to assume that she might have changed her mind again.

Well, now another couple just gave birth yesterday and the agency is showing our profile to them.

Oh this is such a roller coaster ride! My nerves are getting the best of me right now. There are 3 senerios

1) we don't get any baby this week
2) we get one of the babies
3) both of the mothers want to place with us and we have to make a decision. (I don't think the agency would let us accept both)

Pbm contacted us this morning on her way to hospital and she wanted us to come to the hospital. It was a great experience! We got to be in the room during delivery and dh cut the cord. She is beautiful. I'll right more later.
